Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

I told you they wouldn’t care. They’ll defend anything liberal Trump says or does.
Wake me when another candidate says, “We will not take in any refugees, period.”
Syria, along with Iran is on our list of state sponsors of terrorism. And every we chance we get we should kill ISIS members, Qud members and all the members of the other alphabet soup jihadists groups. Sorry to break that line of thought.
He didn’t say what the help was, or how the refugees would be let in. :)
Knowing Trump, the help for Europe could be free razor wire and transport vessels that help return the refugees, and the few *we* let in might end up in internment FEMA camps. :)
He’s been pretty consistent on illegal immigration; don’t see him messing up now.
The way to help is to clean up the countries from whence they came, eradicating Islam would be a good start.
“What would have been wrong with saying no?”
Then the headline would read “Trump now rules out allowing Christian refugees into U.S.”
“The Christian are being thrown overboard by the Muslims.”

That’s the black African muslims making their way from Libya to Italy who have been doing that. Italy should send the muzzies back.
Trump speaks in simple sound bites. At a 3rd or 4th grade level.
He has a participation degree from Wharton, so he imagines himself as part of the ivory tower, ivy league class.
What Trump believes today he might not believe tomorrow. He once flip flopped on the flat tax during an interview. He has had at least 6 very different immigration plans since he started the campaign.
He is not consistent on anything.
You think the Syrians aren’t doing the same? Islamic behavior is universal.
It’s a slow news day I guess. It’s also predictable who will show up to bash Trump whenever something like this is posted. The usual suspects. It’s all very funny actually - they think by trashing Trump we are all going to gravitate to their candidate.
“Maybe, just maybe when Trump says possibly he was referring to the Christians that Obama refuses refuge status too. “
Words ending in “ly” are adverbs. That means they help or modify the verb. To understand what he meant remove all adverbs. The purpose of an adverb is so the hearer can read into the verb the hearer’s own definition of the verb. That’s the problem most people had with Obama. He’d say something and the hearer read into it whatever the hearer wanted to hear.
Trump reminds me of the Democrats of the 60’s, the WW2 generation. They were patriotic, probusiness and all-American men. But they were liberals too. It was just a saner kind of liberalism than what we have today. I suspect the appeal of Trump to many Democrats is they aren’t full moon-bat and neither is he. They’d much rather have Trump as their candidate than Hillary or Biden. Trump’s message also resonates with real conservatives because they, including me, are sick of the government being anti-American and politically correct. But allowing any Muslims into the country is to do away with the melting pot where we all become Americans. I’ve known Muslims who spent most of their life here. But they are the same anti-American, women circumcising, daughter killers here that they are over there. They will not, can not, assimilate and become like us. They will always hate us and will, of course, vote Democrat
When has Trump ever bothered being “nice”? ?
check your premises there
Another anti-Trump thread.
Yep.
Thanks for including Trump’s entire comments on this. It does put a different light on it to have the whole comment.
They never tire of spin!
I agree and expect a stronger, more clarifying, and more satisfactory statement soon. Waffling? Perhaps. So long as he comes out on the right side of the waffle.
Because he knows that's how most Americans (that is, those who aren't as politically savvy as us Freepers) understand. He doesn't merely preach to the choir. Reagan spoke simply as well. That's what works, talking like a policy wonk won't work .
