“Maybe, just maybe when Trump says possibly he was referring to the Christians that Obama refuses refuge status too. “

Words ending in “ly” are adverbs. That means they help or modify the verb. To understand what he meant remove all adverbs. The purpose of an adverb is so the hearer can read into the verb the hearer’s own definition of the verb. That’s the problem most people had with Obama. He’d say something and the hearer read into it whatever the hearer wanted to hear.

Trump reminds me of the Democrats of the 60’s, the WW2 generation. They were patriotic, probusiness and all-American men. But they were liberals too. It was just a saner kind of liberalism than what we have today. I suspect the appeal of Trump to many Democrats is they aren’t full moon-bat and neither is he. They’d much rather have Trump as their candidate than Hillary or Biden. Trump’s message also resonates with real conservatives because they, including me, are sick of the government being anti-American and politically correct. But allowing any Muslims into the country is to do away with the melting pot where we all become Americans. I’ve known Muslims who spent most of their life here. But they are the same anti-American, women circumcising, daughter killers here that they are over there. They will not, can not, assimilate and become like us. They will always hate us and will, of course, vote Democrat

They were known as "Scoop Jackson" Democrats.
