Speaking of pols and auditions, Sarah Palin on CNN just said she would like to be in charge of the Energy Dept in a new administration.

If Trump did that, I would vote for him, just on that one thing alone. I suspect Cruz has plans for Palin as well in his administration.

I totally agree with this post here...

What has the msm and talking heads done for any of the candidates? What have they done to further any correct information on the candidates to the general public, and I'm not talking about ‘their’ opinions, I'm talking about ‘reporting ‘ something that the public wants to hear...

These inbred msm and talking heads are about as stupid as a pimple on a donkey's A$$...they have NO regards for anyone or anything but themselves, they have ‘their’ opinions and by damn that's what your going to hear whether you like it or not, and this is who we are getting paid to shove down your throats...

Well guess what, little low unimportant jackasses, your opinions, and what you have to say to the general public is OVER, we don't WANT to hear from you, we don't WANT to see your, you are as important as the libtards floating down the gutter in any city in the United States!!!!

You are right regarding Cruz. It seems destiny has him the right man in the right place at the right time.

Carson is very intriguing in his patriotic thoughts on the many perilous facets America faces. He is no doubt a very intelligent, maybe too intelligent man who displays way too soft mannerisms that would get him mashed like a bug in the real world of national and international politics.

Carson would certainly deserve some major spot for either Cruz or the Donald POTUS.

Bush only has one path to victory, crossover Dems doing an Op Chaos.

The plan was that Hillary was inevitable and the Dems would be free to elect the soft target on the R side.

Right now it’s not looking that way, Hillary is too weak. But here we are at Labor Day and no action from SlowJoe or Fauxcahontas. At this point in 2007, Caliph Baraq had been campaigning for 7 months.

Cruz is the one with the most solid base and he appears to have the machinery in place.

Your words to God's ears - and to those who like Cruz, but haven't donated to him yet.

GO CRUZ!!! Keep it up Trump!

Kasich can not realistically be pitching himself for POTUS, must be angling for some plum spot in the next Admin.

Unless a UFO swoops down and takes Trump, there will not be any “independent” voters is 2016 and maybe not many dem ones either. That said, I can see Trump playing the Pied Piper strawman for Cruz and could at some point after putting Jeb to bed, point to Ted and tell us “this is who I back for POTUS”.

Yeah he's a very nice man and a brilliant surgeon. I'm a very nice person who is very good at my job, too. That doesn't make me a good choice for president.

Cruz definitely knows what he’s doing and is locking up serious endorsement numbers who become part of the ground game. In NH alone he has 26 current and former state legislators on board.

I think these are fairly up to date.

the Fox debate was not a sorry spectacle.

Fox asked each of the candidates questions that were undesirable, possibly bad news. in doing so, those questions are officially off the table for the rest of the campaign. Fox scooped all the competition by asking and getting answers for those questions.

There are months and other debates to resolve the issues of which you speak.

I would argue patience is a virtue

He was quoted on Breitbart, I believe, as saying he was for amnesty. I don’t make things up.

Could but likely wont’ rise enough to prevail. If Trump drops out Cruz would likely make the most headway. IMO.

I like Carson. In some ways he is good for the country. Many people need a mentor like him. Many non-political types like his caring, peaceful attitude. However, about a week or two ago he made the (apparently obligatory) trip to the border after which he proclaimed it was bad and something had to be done. Dr. Carson, really, it has been very obvious for a very long time that it is really really bad, and it shouldn't require a trip to the border to come to that realization. I think he is a strong and determined man. But I do not think he has the take no prisoners cajones that will be required for the job that must be done. A job that needs to be done by a guy who is not afraid. A guy with no political ties and no allegiances. A guy who knows the system because he has worked it and knows how screwed up it is. A guy who above all, loves his country. Trump is that guy, and he will pave the way for Cruz.

“I anticipate a great culling after the next debate.”

Don’t think that’s gonna happen. The GOPe strategy is becoming pretty obvious: practically none of the 16 dwarfs have a snowball’s chance in hell of being nominated based on their own merits, but don’t expect any to actually drop out of the race, because their sole job assignment from the GOPe is to “Get Trump!” so as long as the kommie media continues to give them a national platform for attacking Trump.

That’s why you’ll see zero percenters like Graham and one percenters like Christie still wielding national megaphones all the way until Trump has the nomination locked up. It takes zero dollars to appear on national television and pretend you are a candidate as long as the kommie media is willing to pretend along with you.
