If I knew,or feared,I had committed a crime I'd take the 5th every time.If I knew I hadn't done wrong no lawyer on earth...including my personal lawyer...could convince me to do so.
Taking the 5th *strongly* suggests guilt.Give him immunity and if he still refuses to testify we'll know that he fears something *other* than prison.
