WASHINGTON (AP) Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker says that building a wall along the country's norther border with Canada is a legitimate issue that merits further review.
Republican candidates have generally taken a get-tough approach on deterring illegal immigration, but they usually focus on the border with Mexico.
The Wisconsin governor was asked whether he wanted to build a wall on the northern border, too, during an interview Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."
Walker says law enforcement officials in New Hampshire brought up the topic of building a wall along the U.S.-Canadian border during a recent town hall meeting. He says they raised some legitimate concerns, so it's a "legitimate issue for us to look at."

But Canadians are still dealing with his legacy.
Indeed. I *loathe* everything that man stood for and did to this nation.
Seems to me that nature, particularly weather in conjunction with terrain provides a pretty good wall on the northern border.
Why build a wall ??
Its cheaper to send the Canucks their more than usual lend lease military equipment so they can use more than the current sling shots provided by Canada’s idiotic Liberals and NDP village idjits.( Canada has 23 million population but a total standing armed force of 100, 000. And they know how to die in both French and English, lets get our priorities straight here! Sarc.)
Walker says wall on Canadian border worth reviewing, freeandfreezing wrote:I suspect the NH types are just trying to get some federal money to spend. Their forest border concern is the ammount of smuggling that going on.
Note how the media works. MBC Meet The Press reader/inquizitor could and should have asked Walker what NH officials were telling him but didn’t. They were satisfied with the “Look into it” as it got twisted into building a wall all along the Canadian 5000 mile border and blasted all over by NPR and media land. They may even have had asked that question but edited it out when they broadcasted the show .
Okay...and how is that a response to what I said?
one documented and he was under survialance by the mounties who tipped off the customs officials
actually 36 million
