Republican presidential candidates Senator Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are teaming up in opposing the Iran nuclear deal.
According to NBC News, Cruz has invited Trump to Washington for an upcoming rally against the deal.
The two are set to appear at an event organized by the Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Politics, and the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), according to the Cruz campaign.
Mort Klein, the ZOA president, said the rally has been in the works for weeks, though Trump's inclusion is a relatively new development.
"I think it's of great value to have a person who will likely command coverage of this rally, of this issue, like Donald Trump would be able to," he said, according to NBC News. "I think it's a good thing. I don't care if he sucks the air out of the room."
Klein, who said the rally is tentatively set for September 9, added, "Maybe [Trump] will be covered more than anyone else at the rally. Fine. The issue's all that matters to me, and getting it covered, and trying to stop this disaster for our country."

That is/was awesome. Yes....a speech such as that is needed, indeed.
First have an Empty Chair on the stage. Then after Trump and Cruz are introduced, have a George Washington impersonator walk on. One that can speak of the 1st Revolution then turn to Trump and Cruz and thank them for this 2nd Revolution that has been too long in coming.
Trump and Cruz then invite George he is welcome to take the seat in the EMPTY CHAIR. Or it would be really special if Clint Eastwood came on stage and seated George.
..... I kinda like the idea that they are teaming up! Wish more would team up to fight the beast instead of fighting each other ...... this is not a normal election ..... it is the ultimate Mortal Combat for the survival of America.
..... We will need a massive wrecking ball of an Administration to restore and repair all of the damage done to America and her reputation and stature over the past 8 years. We definitely don't need a pusillanimous wimpy caretaker of an administration to maintain the growing Statist status quo.
I just sent a tweet to Trump with a link to Allen Wests speech and asked that he would have West speak at the rally on the 9th.

Trump and Cruz? I expect to see more of these two combining efforts in the not too distant future, might even propel them to the WH.
