"I just don't see how he sustains this over a long period of time. Frankly, I give it another month
mid-September," Zogby, CEO of Zogby Analytics, said Tuesday to J.D. Hayworth on "Newsmax Prime."
"So much of [Trump's campaign] is based on being outrageous. How long can you be outrageous? And be outrageous every single day is what he's being." "As soon as he puts together two or three days where there isn't anything outrageous, where the press isn't there, where he just doesn't get this kind of attention, he himself may very well just get bored with that.
"This probably has taken off for him a whole lot bigger and a whole lot faster than he even dreamt."
Appearing with Zogby was Craig Shirley, president of Shirley & Bannister Public Relations, who said of the billionaire developer who remains the GOP frontrunner:
"An old political consultant, Ronald Reagan's campaign manager, John Sears, said politics is motion and the one person in this race who does seem to understand that axiom is Donald Trump.
Shirley said Trump's appeal lies more with the "Joe Six Pack, blue collar, lunch bucket crowd" than it does with the "country club elites."
"It's interesting that so many populist leaders over the past, both Democratic and Republican, whether it's Teddy Roosevelt or Franklin Roosevelt or Ronald Reagan, came out of the middle class or even the upper classes," he said.
"Some came out of the military elites, but they saw for themselves the corruption of the elites and in fact led populist upheavals in America and we're seeing that today."

What Zogby calls outrageous is in reality telling the truth.
There is plenty of truth telling to do.
And, Trump was on the apprentice for years and had even bigger ratings every year and never failed. Trump’s skills to command an audience are very handy.
Wonder what Zogby will do when he realizes he is wrong.

So much of [Trump's campaign] is based on being outrageous. How long can you be outrageous? And be outrageous every single day is what he's being.
Those that don't get Trump, have to find a way to explain to themselves why he is doing so well.
Those that don't like Trump, have to find a way to stop him.
The question is, which is Zogby? I suspect both.
Why is Trump considered outrageous? If you want to see outrageous, look no further than Hillary Clinton. Now that's outrageous.
The media doesn't go after Clinton's every statement. She's untouchable. She's the matriarch of the Leftist movement in the U. S. If she were challenged on her outrageous behavior, she would be mince-meat politically.
Unlike Clinton, Trump is considered to be outrageous because he won't acquiesce to play the game like others. He won't let the press govern him. He won't allow the GOPe to walk all all over him. When people attack him, he defends himself, vociferously. ExPresident Bush, this is what that looks like, if you're interested.
At the end of the day though, brashness will only get you so far. There has to be something behind it. With Trump there is. His platform is resonating with people. So far his platform is bedrock Conservatism. Who knew? Why the public actually likes it. Note to GOPe, WE TOLD YOU SO!
Here's the clue Zogby. Here's why your premise is so full of carp. Trump survives today because there's more to him than brashness. He has had just about every insult possible tossed at him. He shakes them off, and keeps on truckin. And his supportes shake them off as well. They see the attacks for what they are. They are not attacks on his platform. They are attacks on him. Folks aren't buying that kind of political assassination this time around.
As for Hillary, there's outrageous that can't stand up to criticism. If the press spend three days attacking her the way they have Trump, with follow-on question after follow-on question, she'd be political dust.
Trump is not a vacant, angry, coat-tail riding, liar, incompetant, responsible for the deaths of our ambassador and his staff. He doesn't have a trail of dead bodies following him from decades back.
If he were, he would have been taken down by now.
Outrageous? That's all you see Zogby?
LOL

I don't think most people here consider Trump to be a real Constitutional Conservative; were just enjoying watching a real American kick the crap out of the posers, press, illegals, and Prog/Lib/Dem/Commie A**HOLES who have been shoving PC garbage down our throats for the last 20 years or so.
If nothing else he is doing a dandy job of exposing the LOWLIFES, LIARS, MUGGERS, and THIEVES in the Repulicrat party for what they are.

I don’t see bad news letting up in the near future. Bad news is what feeds Trump’s popularity and credibility.

I get the feeling the man has been outrageous all his life. And he's 69.

My thoughts also; I will vote for CRUZ with a great deal of gusto, but Trump is an acceptable alternative at this point.
I would vote for JACK (my good loyal, honorable, dog) before I would ever even consider GIBBERING JEB.

No, Zogby. What’s outrageous is that we have sat quietly for decades while the establishment pushes us around and sells out our country while enriching themselves and making us pay for it. That’s what is outrageous.

I did not realize he was that old.
Despite all the flak he gets for his hair, he looks real good for 69.
Reagan was 69 years 349 days when he took office.
I'm surprised that the media isn't jumping on his age.
