Not so much - stupid,

Rather - downright corrupt and EVIL.

They KNOW what they’re doing. Americans who miss that lack understanding and truth.

Lots of good points in this article. I think government bureaucracies tend to get filled with people who aren’t very bright at all.

Even Obama, who’s about as sharp as a bowl of spaghetti,

Priceless.

I’ve mentioned this in other threads before, but a lot of this reminds me of a scene in the 1985 movie “Witness”, in which John Book (the Philadelphia police detective played by Harrison Ford) figures out the connection between the crooked cop (Danny Glover) ID’d by the Amish boy and the illegal speed trade in the area. The way Book says “they need the P2P to make the speed” and that that material had a very expensive street value makes me think of the artificially low borrowing costs for government and how their wealthy corporate paymasters then use the taxpayer as an unlimited credit card and that they need the Mexican immigrants as cheap labour.

You can even think of the 1980 movie “Brubaker”, in which the prison warden played by Robert Redford continues to discover corruption and rot in the local prison system higher and higher up in the chain of command (with the characters played by Wilford Brimley and the late Murray Hamilton). I know ones here will point out Redford’s definite liberal tendencies, but that movie is a really disturbing portrait and gives many good examples or explanations with what often goes on in government.

Based on my years of observation and experience, I have determined that really important matters should not be left to politicians—They’re too damn stupid.

Can’t be too dumb as they get to openly flout the laws, good off, and get a six figure salary to do it.

Everything that Obama does appears to be bungling and stupid, unless he is Moslem. Everything Baraq Hussein Obama does would sensibly be done by a dedicated Moslem who is in charge of the nation that is perceived as the biggest obstacle to Islamization of the World.

“Remember the really dumb kids at at school?”

...and remember the ones who were the narcissistic,
self-centered bullies, who were cultivated as brilliant, intellectual geniuses by many teachers?

They are now the psychotic punks running the whole ball of wax.

IMHO

They are simply making choices. If the "smart" thing to do contradicts their ideology, they stick with their ideology and try to label calls for "smart" actions as cruel or crude or racist.

All of those "stupid" actions are undertaken in aid of a long-term goal - the victory of International Socialism.

Dunning-Kruger rule the nation.
“What’s curious is that, in many cases, incompetence does not leave people disoriented, perplexed, or cautious. Instead, the incompetent are often blessed with an inappropriate confidence, buoyed by something that feels to them like knowledge.”

Because, unlike biz, govt NEVER needs to justify its failures.

As we no longer are a Constitutional Republic (~100yrs), govt no longer worries, nor cares, how detrimental their lawlessness gets. Nor do those that cause the problems need worry about keeping their ‘job’ (see L. Lerner, E. Holder, T. Gobbler, etc.).

Elected => get rich => voted-out => hired by k-st => corrupt system => get rich
