Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump clearly prides himself in shunning focus-group research. He refuses big campaign donations that he asserts make his opponents beholden to special interests. He seems to target no specific constituency.
Many pollsters remain puzzled by Trumps political appeal. Republican support for Donald Trump just continues to grow, said Patrick Murray, director of Monmouth Polling after its August survey, with no clear sense of who his constituency really is.
Yet a constituency is emerging. Trumps strongest supporters, roughly a quarter of Republican voters across the polls, are not dissuaded by any increased media scrutiny of their candidate. They have overlooked a series of faux pas that might have tanked other candidates.
It appears, however, to be a constituency with whom he has barely interacted: white working-class voters. Their lives are far from the flight path of Trumps private jet, as he zooms from golf course to grand hotel lobby, television sound stage to penthouse suite...

I just posted them.
That’s not it.
I’ll find it. Some language accompanies the ugly truth.
If you don’t like rough language, don’t watch it.
She tells the truth.
Btw, see 38.
I’ve never seen his show The Apprentice (the original one, not Celebrity Apprentice). I am guessing he interacted with people from all walks of life in that show.
Not all black folk like what some do in Baltimore. I don’t know where the video is, but below you find a link for hundreds of Baltimore riot photos. The ones at top are for the most recent ones, but further down, start looking for the black mother dressed in yellow, smacking her son and dragging him out of that mess and chasing him home. I believe this is the one you mean. I counted a dozen photos before I got to the bottom and had not pushed the spot for “show more.” On the other hand near the top there is the black guy throwing a fence section wearing a black shirt with “black lives matter.” What a bad advertisement he is.
I was speaking in nation wide terms. It's why I said Baltimore etc. See link in 43. She talks of Ferguson and basically everywhere this happens like Chicago etc.
Yes, I see we are talking about two different women. But the mother in yellow got a lot of hits too.
I am not referring to his TV shows I am talking about him visiting his construction sites to make sure the work is being done right, and that his managers are on schedule there.
Trump has the progressive sickos spinning like tops...
She tells the truth
Her language was definitely salty, but yes, she tells the truth. It reminds me of the mother, who saw her son on TV, I think it was TV, and came down and proceeded to beat some sense into his rock hard head. She spoke the truth too.
I talked with a young man today - 37 - who has never voted. Said he is going to register next year so he can vote for Trump. They don’t know where his support is coming from because they are all interviewing each other.
That was my bad. My reply was somewhat of a non-sequiter to your post about Donald’s interactions with construction workers on his real estate projects.
My reply was supposed to add to yours by showing that Donald may have interacted with other working class people through his show ‘the apprentice’.
I failed to make a smooth transition between our posts.
The MSM is confused that working class Americans don’t see Trump as a silver spoon elitist like !Jeb! or Kerry - I think Trump’s decades of media exposure and ease of speaking his mind have made people feel very comfortable with him; I don’t think he comes across at all as being paternalistic or condescending.
This is without all the nonsense Channel 4 advertising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjXCZL2tYlw
“Their lives are far from the flight path of Trumps private jet, as he zooms from golf course to grand hotel lobby, television sound stage to penthouse suite.”
Private jet - who do they think built it?
Golf Courses - who do they think built them?
Hotel - who do they think built it?
Television Sound Stage - who do they think built it?
Penthouse suite - who do they think built it?
I know, I know, if in Texas today, virtually all Hispanics, legal and otherwise. But when and where most of his properties were built, mostly working class whites.
“The race card.... agaaaaaaiiiin.....?”
Of course, but it WILL NOT work this time.
Nice to see Trump following my advice, though.
Where's "Nicky"?
Their fickle nature is not indecisiveness, but rather the sense that neither party has done much for them over the past 40 years. The Rust Belt population has confronted post-industrial economic collapse and depopulation. It is fed up with Washington, and cynical about politicians who pledge to address its plight.
We are not fickle but we are fed up with Washington types that make and break promises with regularity.
Lou Dobbs doesn’t allow any Cruz news on his show.
That’s when I stopped watching him.
