Why are the leakers of the information “SJWs?”
This does not compute.
“...security experts quickly noted that there were 15,000 .mil or .gov e-mail addresses among those used for the site.”
I’m sure many of those are fakes, but I’m also sure a lot of those used their work emails to avoid snooping into their private emails.
The .edu ones could be fun, too.
The hand-wringing about loss of privacy on the web by the author is just icing on the cake.
If the intent is to “out” people to their spouses, providing financial data on the internet is a terrible idea. For spouses most of this sort of information is linked to them too. In essence it comes down to “your husband cheated on you, and now your identity is going to be stolen too.”
When they came for the social justice warriors I said: “well done! Where can I sign up?!”
It’s not that I don’t care about SJWs; I do care, very much.
But whatever happens to them is deserved. It may happen in a way that should not be allowed. But that’s a separate issue.
Sounds like antisemitism on the part of the hackers.
