Yvonne Craig, the actress most well known for bringing to life the role of Batgirl in the 1960s Batman series, has passed away due to complications from cancer. Craig was 78-years-old.

R.I.P. Yvonnne. Batgirl was my first favorite female crime fighter. Then Jaime Summers the Bionic Woman and then Wonder Woman Lynda Carter and then Buffy Summers - Sarah Michelle Gellar. Never watched Xena.
