CNN)Donald Trump appeared to contradict his own immigration policy proposal Tuesday, just two days after releasing a detailed outline of his plans.
Trump said he wants foreigners who study at American universities to be able to stay in the U.S., but his immigration plan released Sunday would make it more difficult for foreigners to obtain certain visas and green cards that would allow them to remain and work in the U.S. legally.

Instead, Trump contradicted himself (again). Well, maybe not. After all, he did say all those illegals who leave he wants the "productive" ones expedited back into the front of the line to legally immigrate. And I guess if you go to school, that would be considered productive since it assumes getting a good job upon graduation.
But again, that pits Americans vrs Foreigners or newly immigrated foreigners in terms of American jobs.
There's a tween he sent out about HB-1 reform. What "reform" is he talking about, as I haven't heard anything.

My sentiments exactly. they know exactly what he means. This is the same deal as calling him anti immigrant when he was precise to mean “illegal criminal immigrants” yet they keep saying “immigrants.”
Jeff Sessions as come out and said this is a very good plan. So if Sessions is in it can’t be all bad. Trump knew this would happen.

Exactly. Moreover, American universities are simply a ruse for foreign students to come in and most NEVER go back. They engage in sham marriages, have a kid with their girlfriend who follows them on a visitor’s visa and then of course we all know the story.

Trump would control the number of school visas and work visa.
So what are the numbers now under Obama? Trump could cut this significantly if it’s needed.
