Jeb Bush super PAC spending $10 million on ads in early primary states (Panic time for Mike Murphy)
Chicago Tribune ^ | 8/16/16 | Tribune Wire Reports

The powerfully funded super PAC backing Republican Jeb Bush will spend at least $10 million on television time in the earliest voting presidential primary states, the first salvo in a massive TV ad campaign to support the former Florida governor's bid for the Republican nomination.

Officials with Right to Rise USA say they will buy time in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina TV markets and on cable television in the three states. Ads are scheduled to begin in Iowa and New Hampshire on Sept. 15, in South Carolina a week later and then run continuously through the end of the year.

The plan, shared by the group with The Associated Press prior to Monday's buy, is the first evidence of Right to Rise USA's major strategic spending of the roughly $100 million it had on hand last month. It's also the first major move by the group, which was developed by Bush and longtime advisers including California ad maker Mike Murphy, to run alongside Bush's own campaign organization, which is bound by federal fundraising limits.

"We believe Jeb Bush has the strongest record of conservative accomplishments in the race, and we plan to tell that story," Paul Lindsay, communication director for Right to Rise USA, told the AP.

Mike Murphy panic time. Right to Rise Fundraising has collapsed.

And the Bush crony consultants need to collect their 15% advertising commission kickbacks from their media buys before Jeb's campaign sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

This is getting good.

The Cheap Labor Express is pooping their pants. The playbook they have used successfully to nominate Romney and McCain has had a giant monkey wrench thrown into it.
¡Yeb! isn’t the shoe-in they had planned on because of that giant monkey wrench.

Can you guess his name?

At least I don’t live in one of the states being targeted at the present time.
These ads get annoying as the race deadlines approach.

Who really watches much tv anymore?

Especially people who get from TV most of the information that determines their voting decision.

Are they going to run Jebster ads during Game of Thrones Season 6?
Doubtful!

Right to Rise donations have stopped after Trump shook up the race.

And they’ve already wasted over $10 million in salaries and overhead expenses to date with nothing to show for it.

Their donors are furious that Right to Rise hasn’t done anything with the money that they donated and that Jeb has fallen to a 2nd tier candidate.

Right to Rise did not want to start advertising so early but they are being forced to by their donors.

This is great news. They are panicking and their donors are pissed.

For Right To Rise, it’s not about Jeb winning. It’s about collecting a 15% advertising commission kickback on the media buys before the 2nd debate and Jeb’s campaign sinks to the bottom of the ocean. And placating their furious donors.

I guess it takes millions to show the world that Jebby Boy loves puppies and doesn't hate women and people of color.

After all, we have to start by accepting the premises of the left. Then we have to defend ourselves against those slanders.

Next we have to show how smart and compassionate we are at “governing.”

Then if we have any money left we might take a wispy little swipe at Hillary or Obama. But be careful, you don't want to be mean.

Spending $10 million to run television ads in three key primary states from the middle of Sept. until Jan 2016 isn’t exactly how I’d define the term ‘panic’, unless you’re an underfunded competitor.

Where are you getting your information to the contrary...certainly not from the article at the link.

TV ads are for LIVs: people who can be persuaded in 30 seconds.

By definition, you want to pummel them, 30 seconds at a time, no earlier than 3 weeks out. Otherwise, you are beyond their attention span.

The campaign MO of a candidate leading by far in funding is to let all the other candidates freak out about exposure and positioning in the lead up while you stay above the fray.

And then... Blow them all out of the water 6 weeks out. (3 weeks before early voting starts through Election Day).

El Jefe spending money now means HE is one of those candidates freaking out about exposure and positioning in the lead up.

It means he’s seriously off his game plan to be the reserved money leader who can act decisively when it counts.

I’m sure the political machine of the Republican Party was hoping Fox News and the attack dog fake conservative candidates would take out Trump in the first debate and eliminate him as a threat.

Now that they’ve failed the money will have to be dished out heavy to destroy Trump, split conservative votes among the splitter candidates and probably create a false emotional issue to build up Jeb’s credibility as a ‘conservative’.

Watch out for the fake issue, fake controversy, Jeb Bush versus something or someone ‘liberal’ or ‘leftist’ that will be hyped in the media to sucker in grassroots voters.

Good news is:

1. Low morale inside the Bush campaign
2. Angry Right To Rise donors
3. Fundraising collapse at Right to Rise
4. Bush campaign fundraising slowdown
