Many Republican entertainers are clearly smitten with former reality TV star Donald Trump, but for conservative commentator Glenn beck, this makes no sense.
Trump, a longtime crony capitalist, supports many liberal positions, including increased gun control and single-payer healthcare. ...
"I get it if you are tired of politicians, A Republican progressive, or you are only about winning," Beck wrote in a message posted at Facebook [link at URL]. "Perhaps you are angry and you just want to make someone pay or just want something done and you don't carte how it gets done, but what PRINCIPLES does he have that they are attracted to?"
"I really want to understand," he added.
Beck listed off a handful of reasons why conservatives should cringe at the thought of Trump's candidacy.
"[Trump] said he identifies his 'policies more as a Democrat'; he makes Obama look truly humble' he was very pro abortion until very recently;; he still says 'don't defund Planned Parenthood'; he is pro 'assault weapons ban'; he is in favor of a wealth tax that would just 'take money out of people's bank accounts'; he is for boots on the ground in Iraq and 'taking the oil' from the Iraqi people; he is a progressive 'Republican'; he says single payer health care works; he said he would give people more than just Obama care," Beck wrote.
"[T]he first Lady would be the first to have posed nude in lesbian porno shots; he said that he keeps all the bibles he is given in a 'special place' outside the city - and he only goes to church on Christmas and Easter; he is generally not a likable guy; he has around 16% favorability with Hispanics and he has gone bankrupt 4 times," he added. ...

Who doesn't?
Chris, don’t worry. It’s very early. Cruz is in this to win. He knows what he’s doing.
It was around this time in 2011 we thought we’d get President Rick Perry. ;)
I have utmost respect for Pamela Geller and what she does but Trump knocking her is not a deal breaker for me. Far from it. You are on cloud nine. Only Trump and Jeb can raise the money to defeat Hillary. Ted Cruz will never raise enough. Scott Walker might but quite doubtful.
So from the above four choices it is Donald Trump for me. He has the best shot at becoming President. He is 100x better than that idiot Jeb.
Beck will say and do anything for publicity, sorta like Madonna or Gloria Allred
So Rush didn't learn a thing from Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.
He can pass me right by with that lesser evil stuff.
lol....Pamela Gellar would much rather live in an America where Trump is President rather than a ratbag Obama or a feeble witted Hillary.
We are sick of a lot of things Arthur. And that's what DC doesn't get. We are sick of the Shut up and take it, sneak it under the radar mentality by the uniparty and gelded perfumed princes that do nothing.
That includes:
Dubai Ports, Harriet Meirs, Tarp, Stimulus, Obamacare, the GM bailout and all it's non-traditional machinations, A Supreme Court who are behaving as Alchemist in Black Robes reading entrails instead of reading the flippin' Constitution and obeying it.
And that is just the beginning of the list. Trump is might not be the cure, but he definitely is speaking that we have an illness when everyone is will go their, with the big one being immigration...
Frankly, no one on this forum gives a rats behind what Glenn Beck says or thinks. That's strange because there sure are a lot of them that sound just like him and agree with what he's saying...
LOL
Yeah, what a saint
My Lord [wake up your heart]; Trump is STILL pro-abortion for babies conceived through rape/incest. What is pro-life about that? STILL, TO THIS DAY, 8-15-15..... now go do your own research on the man, before he changes back to pro-choice completely....
Hillary is such a formidable candidate? All the paper money in the world cannot make that ugly harridan as electable as you believe her to be. Be strong and of good courage! Hillary is far from the formidable candidate you believe she is.
Interesting. I had a conversation with a dear friend from NH the other night. While we are enjoying the heck out Trump beeotch slapping everything the E-GOP and RINO-chat-eratee, my friend said something that stuck with me, he has changed his mind about Trump. Something isn't sitting right with him about Trump, maybe many are felling this way too...
Glenn Beck is befuddled by sobriety.
Yeah, and the change was made by the GOPe. They caved without a fight as usual.
The GOP-e and all who defend it are worthless slugs.
Go, Trump, GO!!
Go, Cruz, GO!!
” I think you’re pro Israel”
I am too, so what’s your point? What are you, pro-terrorist Hamas???
I don’t disagree but Trump is meeting with Sen. Jeff Sessions to hone his immigration stance.
I honestly like what Trump is saying and doing but it does seem he could turn on these issues. That is a bit scary.
This is where I too think Beck went off the rails a bit. So did Hannity.
Trump said he would build a wall. (The next uniparty president would work with Mexico open up the wall.)
He also made sounds about amnesty for non criminal illegals. That would give dems. about 30 million voters for the next election. It would hurt our economy badly and welfare would sky rocket. We can’t even employ the citizens we have let along thousands of Muslim tent dweller from Somalia and millions from who knows where! How can he possibly know the intentions and character of 30 million foreigners in order to legalize them? They have to go.
Glenn Beck is a brain short of being capable of saying anything that makes sense.
Heck, does he do anything but cry and get strange disorders?
Obama doesn’t have enough substance to be criticized, or as we say in Texas Obama doesn’t have enough ass to smell, if you do you’re a racist.
How has that worked out for the country?
People better move beyond the personality with Trump.
