Since Trump is doing so well, I've had prime rib on the brain.
I like mine rare with horseradish.
I use to live in NYC in the 80's. I didn't know Trump but I knew of him.
I was on Wall St.
Trump was considered garish but very effective. A decent guy.
He can be trusted.
Make sure you read the twitters. Jacques KUSINICH was great.
Also loved how people on ground got involved in copter overhead.
He got a porkchop on stick but didn’t go in butter cow. (Enclosed areas are difficult for security ?)
Chants from crowd made me tear up
There was probably nothing wrong with either of the three.
He may be duping us but he is doing a good job doing it. I’ve never been known to be a pushover. I’m usually very skeptical of anyone bearing gifts or much of anything else but I’m liking this guy more by the week.
He needs more security protection. If he keeps this up he is going to create more enemies very fast.
Listening to his press conference from yesterday in NH... on campaign contributions.. what he is saying is all good.
If we make payments to foreign officials it is a crime called a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violation and is punished by huge fines and jail.
The same thing is done in this country and we just call it a campaign contribution.
Even the hair looks a little more “normal” this week.
I love when the media tries to nail him on statements.
Reporter: You said candidates are puppets for their donors. Well doesn’t that make you a puppeteer?
Trump: Oh, yeah. I was a great puppeteer. One the best.
LOL!
bttt
ROTFLOL!.....
As a former NYer, I have watched him for a long time. Whatever he is, what you see is the real thing.
He never changes...don't think he has the capacity to change.
As an aside, my Dad told me when I was kid to never fake it. Just be who you are.
When you start faking it, you use up most of your brain trying to maintain the fake identity...and good girls can see through a fake anyway.
Interesting Trump conversation here:
Trump........”With me, I had yesterday a lobbyist call me up — it’s a friend of mine, good guy, smart as hell,” he said. “He said, ‘Donald I want to put $5 million into your campaign. I said, ‘I don’t need it. I don’t want it.”
“’Because when you come back to me in two years and you want help with a company you’re representing — or a country that you’re representing — I’m going to do the right thing for the people of the United States and I don’t want to have to insult you’,” he added.
“Since the Bush years, I haven’t been interested in putting anyone in power,” Iowa resident Joe McNeley, a former Democrat, said of his support for the billionaire business leader.... “Mr. Trump — he’s not in the political realm. He speaks his mind and he’s not afraid.”
My impression so far is that you can’t shape him, you can’t handle him but you can advise him and he may listen and he may respond. Somebody is advising him and he is listening and he is acting on the advice in his own way and his own style. I”m watching his NH talk from last night and he is doing the best he has ever done relating to the audience. He is savy and he is aware of what he is saying and he is exercising a little good judgement to prevent damage. You have to or the media will kill you.
Watch him respond and read the crowd. I think he is enjoying it more all the time. He is feeding off the crowd.
Really? He is trustworthy? That is encouraging. I had hoped he was that way.
Another great response from yesterday regarding boston’s mayor:
He spends all this time and effort and money on an Olympic bid and then he goes out talking about Ice Bucket Challenges? Get a real mayor. He came out and he was strongly againstwhen we had the original problem when I was misquoted, now everybody is apologizing to me. Illegal immigration, he said I dont like Trumps statements. Now everybody is apologizing to me because I turned out to be right. Massive crime. You had beautiful Kate [Steinle] in San Francisco, even three days ago a 66-year-old woman was raped, sodomized and tortured by an illegal immigrant and they caught him. Its just disgraceful whats going on. I brought up, and Im so proud I brought upI took a lot of heat, a lot of heat that first week, they called it incoming from you people [the media], incomingnow so many people have apologized to me. And its become a mainstay of everybodys campaign. The problem is they dont know what to do about it. I do. And it starts with building a wall.
.@realDonaldTrump walks thru the Iowa State Fair. People said they have never seen anything like it (crowds & media). pic.twitter.com/4wWfSOENcp— Dan Scavino (@DanScavino) August 15, 2015
These is an enlightening interview of Ivanka. She tells how the family plus sit at the big table brainstorm then rule out weakest repeat process till a desision is made
Don’t see it changing much. Ivanka seems to have the strongest relationship. Even her conversion to Judaism has influenced MrT
Watched an interview with Gingrich on Newsmax who said he’s never seen anyone who stays on offense as much as Trump. He said he turns any question around immediately into an attack on his opponents. I think that didn’t look so good when he almost “threatened” Megyn Kelly in the debate. But it’s a skill he’s using to good effect in these press conferences.
Trump king of the fair....Trump helicopter flies by again. Causing everyone around us to stop, point skyward and say his name..."It's Trump!"
Much more effective than trip to butter cow.
Taking load after load of kids around again and again cheap advertising with name on plane, rides for kids priceless.
Better than kissing babies, or buying those annoying TV advertising
