WASHINGTON
Some 90 people, including lobbyists for foreign governments, lawmakers, top Obama aides and State Department employees, communicated directly with Hillary Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state using her personal email address, according to a McClatchy review of thousands of her recently released emails.
Many people said they were surprised when it was revealed in the spring that Clinton relied on a private email account on a private server in her Chappaqua, N.Y., home to conduct official business during her four years as Obamas secretary of state. But the review of emails shows influential people in Washington and around the globe not only knew she used a personal account, but corresponded with her on that personal account.
Jeffrey Farrow, a lobbyist for the nation of Palau, exchanged several emails with Clinton between June and October 2009 about U.S. aid and the transfer of Chinese Muslims from the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay to the sparsely populated island. Laurie Rubiner, vice president of public policy and advocacy for Planned Parenthood, asked Clinton in July 2009 to discuss abortion during an upcoming trip to Kenya. Cherie Blair, wife of the former British prime minister, repeatedly urged Clinton in September 2009 to meet with her friend, Sheikha Mozah, the second wife of the then emir of Qatar.

and yet her server was blank.
“And dozens and dozens of State Department employees used Clintons private email account to address a host of international issues, from a coup in Honduras and the draw down in Afghanistan to a conflict on the Azerbaijan border to security in Libya.”
There will be lots and lots of classified info.
So much for FOIA
How can the details of the transfer of Chinese Muslims held at gitmo NOT be classified?
“President Barack Obama has said he learned about the situation after it was reported in the media, though he and his former Cabinet secretary did email. No emails between Obama and Clinton showed up in the released documents.”
Like all Clinton scandals of the 90’s, the story is put out on Friday when the audience is paying less attention and its leaked out early so it doesn’t come out as negative news later on at a critical time.
In this case, the story is leaked out now so its a ‘non-story’ in 2016 for election time.
From the article, she had discussion with staff on the state of security in Libya.
That's a sweet morsel.
Again, KUDOS to the excellent job McClatchy is doing on this.
Always was a joke. If the Government didn’t put a hold on it for security reasons, it would take years and years to get an answer.
Often the answer would be that your request was missing something or there was a misspelling or some such ... when corrected, the process would begin all over. Years and years later ... repeat.
You mean: so it’s a non-story by Monday.
Comey is renowned to be straight as the day is long.
This is the burial of the story not the reporting of the story, that’s for sure.
Back in the 90’s I used to get so excited until I realized it was the Clinton apparatus using friendly media to clean up their messes by leaking it out in Friday dribbles.
I don't think the FBI cares what the story is. Or when it's published.
They are miles past what we know by now.
Yes, it is a bit thick this time.
Ha...none in 4 years with his Secretary of State...
I guess he used smoke signals........./snicker
..or telepathy...amongst his other accomplishments....../more snicker.
Chelsea’s wedding. And yoga videos.
If the Hildabeast did not use her personal e-mail account to communicate official correspondence, what did she use ? Pigeon post; morse code ?
I wouldn’t doubt that Obama and her didn’t email each other. I doubt she was even allowed to speak to his highness. I think he put her in her place and she took it for four years. She was there so she wouldn’t be preparing to challenge him in 2012. She did absolutely nothing as SOS other than travel around the country. I’d like to see who corresponded with VJ.
