I like Steve Forbes. I went to a Heritage luncheon a few years ago in Buckhead and Forbes was the speaker. He was warning at the time that if Obama got elected it would be a disaster.

Call me crazy - but I think Steven Forbes would have been a good presidentWe're in the same crazy bin. Sixteen years ago, it was looking like Forbes vs Quayle, hoping they' d be the ticket. Forbes with the economy, Quayle with foreign affairs expertise. The world would've been a very different place if it had been those two.
But GWB's donors overwhelmed the system with money. And Quayle used an alternative spelling of potato. So we got GWB, and a giant step down that slippery slope.
