Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio are on the rise in Nevada. A new survey has the Republican presidential candidates in second and third place respectively, behind the current GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. The Silver Bullet survey, shared first with National Review, was conducted on August 8, just two days after the first Republican presidential debate in which Fiorina and Rubio delivered strong performances; it’s the first poll of the election cycle in any state that has Fiorina surging into second place. In the caucus state, she takes 16 percent of the vote, behind Donald Trump with 26 percent, and just ahead of Rubio with 13 percent. They are followed by Ben Carson with 12 percent; Ted Cruz with 11 percent; and Jeb Bush with 9 percent.

I will guess that Fiorina will finish in the top 5 or 6 before it is all over. She is a pretty good candidate.

Rubio and Fiorina won’t last. They have lots of baggage. Trumps show and he’ll make mincemeat of them. Fiorina’s been fired and has lost campaigns. We don’t need a loser that cost 10s of thousands of American jobs. Rubio is Mr. Amnesty. We definitely do not need that.
GOPe media outlets like FauxNews and IJReview.com (7.5 million Facebook fans) have been pumping Fiorina and slamming Trump since the debate.

Fiorina fully accepts the leftist theory of catastrophic global warming … without any reservations. But then she now says that we can’t achieve anything if we act alone. The fact of the matter is that if the Chicken Little theory is correct like Fiorina says, then we could do at least something by acting alone, and in fact in 2008 Fiorina herself advocated extreme unilateral (the US alone) action on climate change with her Cap & Trade scheme that would have cut CO2 emissions by 83% within 3 decades:
