A week before The EPA disastrously leaked millions of gallons of toxic waste into The Animas River in Colorado, this letter to the editor was published in The Silverton Standard & The Miner local newspaper, authored by a retired geologist detailing verbatim, how EPA would foul the Animas River on purpose in order to secure superfund money...

The federal government is simply too big. There are too many untouchable bureaucrats who believe they are above the law and can do anything they want.
This can end one of two ways and one of those ways is not pretty.

Those responsible should have to swim in and drink that river water.

I believe that Obama’s goons would do something like this even if there were no money on the line.
Just look at what they did with the VA.

I looked at the back issues of this newspaper, there is no July 30 issue, like this article states this letter to the editor came from. There is no link to the actual newspaper article in Zero Hedge. If you wanted to prove that this letter existed, a link should have been there. I am skeptical of this, I think it is fake.
If it is not a fake, then someone please post the actual link.

8/12/ WTNHColorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, himself a former geologist, visited a contaminated stretch of river Tuesday and said he hopes a silver lining to the disaster will be a more aggressive state and federal effort to deal with minings legacy of pollution across the West.

Durango is a bit on the democrat side, along with the Navajo and northern New Mexico. One of the reasons is the environmentalist vote. We should be screaming from the mountaintops that the EPA did this.

The latest back issue on their website is Feb. 12, 2015. It seems obvious to me that this is done to keep people from reading the newspaper online instead of buying it.
Perhaps more recent articles can be accessed by having a subscription.
If not, the printed version may the the only way to see the letter to the editor, at least until later in the year when the July issues are available electronically.

My gut tells me that it was sabotage. Someone had a plan. The bad guy mightnot actually be the doer of the deed....but simply an antagonist.

The first sentence of my comment above is a quote. I don’t know what happened to the formatting so that it isn’t italicized.
