For all those who are listening to Sound Bites on what Donald Trump said on CNN this morning . . here is the truth of his position: "The problem that I have with Planned Parenthood is the abortion situation. It is like an abortion factory, frankly, Trump said. And you cant have it. And you just shouldnt be funding it. That should not be funded by the government, and I feel strongly about that.
When pressed on non-abortion services Planned Parenthood allegedly provides, Trump said, What I would do when the time came, Id look at the individual things they do, and maybe some of the individual things they do are good. I know a lot of the things are bad. But certainly the abortion aspect of it should not be funded by government, absolutely.
Trump continued, I would look at the good aspects of [Planned Parenthood], and I would also look, because Im sure they do some things properly and good and that are good for women, and I would look at that, and I would look at other aspects also. But we have to take care of women.
I will never unite behind a non-conservative. The last few elections should have shown the futility of this.
“Apparently so do the Republicans that control Congress.”
I don’t support them either. I never would.
And only a fool would carry the water of the MSM and GOPe...and that’s what you’re doing.
You are no patriot!
That is the kind of hyperbole I expect from clones.
I don’t even watch TV any more. I am not even a Republican any more.
What else ya got.
I am going to support a conservative for President. Only someone who is insane thinks that makes me a supporter MSM or GOPE supporter.
It does not matter if you support them, the republicans are right now, this day, keeping PP fully funded with our tax dollars. Why hold trump to a different standard?
I also am a Cruz supporter, and I think you are right about Trump currently drawing GOP flak fire.
I think Trump is a force to be reckoned with though, and he is providing a useful service in focusing attention on illegal immigration and in exposing GOPE stealth candidates.
It is also indeed possible that trump will win the nomination.
I personally do not know if Trump is a conservative. My suspicion is that he is not.
However, is he any less a conservative than the GOP is? Nope.
I have no intention of supporting any of the GOP candidates except Cruz. I have respect for Carson, but I do not think he will be president. But the rest of ‘em? To hell with them.
What is really troubling to me though is in conversation with another poster in this thread, it is clear that people not only buy those phony show votes, they are satisfied with that and make excuses for them.
I agree. I can’t get behind Jeb. I am no admirer of Donald Trump.
It’s come to the point where Trump the wrecking ball is the only thing that leads to a conservative in the White House. The GOPe is all in for Jeb, and if he falters they will pick another go-along-to-get-along candidate who will talk conservative but make no changes to the structure that gives us McConnell and Boehner surrender monkeys.
For now, and probably up until the convention, Trump is only weapon that might work to break up the cartel. If he implodes, then Cruz it is, but GOPe won’t allow Cruz unless Trump is making deals at the convention.
Note how carefully Cruz refuses to bash Trump and merely restates his own conservative positions when the MSM gives him the chance to dump on Trump. I think Ted sees it, too.
I certainly concur. Of course he knows. He's a businessman. If there is such a thing as "defunding the abortion side" of PP, PP dries up and blows away. And no one is the worse off for it, besides those making a profit off of abortion and infant parts.
Also, when we talk about PP, are we referring to just here in the States? Abortion is also a peculiar industry that we export via the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). "We" are funding that too.
I forgot by whom he was being interviewed, but when the question was put to him about the potential loss of the ‘other essential services’ that might be lost with the de-funding of PP, he adopted a confused look and then fired off that brilliant response.
And then, we heard - crickets, only crickets.
Thanks for posting, I heard the interview and wasnt concerned at all ... but of course many people will read something into nothing if it fits their agenda.
+1
Thanks for posting that . . I wish Trump would keep reminding everyone of that when he’s asked about his verbiage.
I hold Trump to the same standard
I don’t support them either.
PP is also funded by the big “tax-exempt” foundations.
I think we need to abolish the tax-exempt status
I hold those that have the elected power over me and my tax dollars responsible. Trump is merely a candidate that so many on all sides say will not win. What trump says is irrelevant to the reality of sacrificing babies right now using my tax dollars on both ends of this business. Trump cannot tarnish the republican brand, republicans have already done that.

It’s all interconnected to corporate organizations...they “feed” off each other and the revenue flows.
And here you are again. Acting like a little b!tch on yet another Trump post. So predictable...
No, the last few elections have shown the futility of voting GOP.
