Sign me up. LOL! Why not push for a cashless society because since everything is free, nobody needs cash. Of course those of us with "WP" already get all our stuff free. The "powers" just make it look like we're paying for stuff to fool the minorities and certain protected classes of folks. I'm sure all those lib college profs would gladly go without a paycheck for the greater good.

The insurmountable problem socialists like Bernie face is that capitalism produces the things they wish to “redistribute.”
Without capitalism there are no taxes and there are no “sustainable” jobs.

I’m not laughing. Hordes of idiots will be crawling over broken glass to go and vote for this.

In reality and personal experience, you get out of an education what you put in it. The more it costs you personally, the more seriously you take it.
If this plan were ever to be implemented, I'd expect the educational landscape of higher learning would look like any slate of Section 8 rental housing available in most any urban market.

Why should anyone go to college when all it means anymore is that you are going to work, be productive and support a bunch of free-loaders? Bernie needs to be more creative — make gasoline free. The greedy “rich” can afford to pay for everyone’s gas.

SO let’s be clear- He will use the power of the FEDERAL Government force states to make their universities free?
To: rktman
Good Luck. Somebody has to pay, so nothing is free
To: rktman
Will the college professors promise to work for free?

Sign me upNot me. I'm finished with college. What I want is for the Federal Government to implement a Lamborghini For Everyone Program. I deserve it. Cars like this shouldn't be just for the rich.
To: rktman
Can I get $50 minimum wage? And I need a car to get to work, I'll expect a car.
Oh, and I'll need a roof over my head so will you pay for my house also please? It'll
need a new kitchen at least every other year.
And my Dog, he'll need universal healthcare also along with my parrot,
lizards, sixteen snakes, and worm bed.
If you want to buy my vote, it'll cost you promises you cannot keep.
