According to a report released Sunday by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the $15 minimum wage has caused Seattle restaurants to lose 1,000 jobs the worst decline since the 2009 Great Recession.
The loss of 1,000 restaurant jobs in May following the minimum wage increase in April was the largest one month job decline since a 1,300 drop in January 2009, again during the Great Recession, AEI Scholar Mark J. Perry noted in the report.

Gee, Seattle businesses are in the tank because the Seattle politicians INCREASED the costs of doing business for all businesses by mandating $15 per hour minimum wages? What on God's green Earth do politicians know about running ANY business? They have no clue. Labor is the most expensive component a business has and costs of business must be kept under control so that everyone gets paid, products delivered, vendors paid, and a profit is made. Skew the cost of doing business by unfunded mandate and the business owner only has a few ways to react: cut benefits, cut hours, cut staff, raise prices, automate, move his business, or go out of business. It IS really that simple, you political fools.

“The best thing about Idiocracy is it is now a documentary.”
You’re behind the times IDIOCRACY is actually now a nostalgic movie about how great things USED to be, the good old days as it were.

Have you ever noticed in the movies the left wingers out of Hollywood come up with the elite living in the cities in lives of luxury while everyone else around them, the people serving them, live in poverty are always portrayed as right wing extremist.
In reality it’s the left wingers that have the dream of living a life of luxury while everyone else around them serving them lives in poverty.
