Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.
Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate.
It is "highly unlikely" Trump would appear at 9 p.m. with host Megyn Kelly, the source said, and that's probably an understatement. Trump has repeatedly and personally insulted Kelly in recent days.
But talks are underway about a Trump interview with another prime time host, like Sean Hannity, the source said, adding that nothing had been confirmed as of Monday morning.
In the meantime, Fox has dramatically ratcheted down its coverage of Trump. It hasn't covered Trump's criticisms of Kelly and the two other debate moderators, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier.
Trump's most recent tweet about Fox came on Sunday afternoon: "It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than Fox News. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, and I get zip!"
This is a true clash of titans. Fox News is the favored network of Republicans, and Trump is the Republican campaign front-runner.

Correct. I don’t like seeing conservatives falling for his shtick. Trump is dividing this party and is going to get a liberal or liberal-Republican elected. It’s not a good thing.

Excellent. The Donald is showing what “ real war” is like , and demonstrating he stands behind even his quick comment about not treating her with a benefit of the doubt. ( not his exact quote, but in essence he said I thought you were ok, but now I know you aren’t so here it comes )

He should ask for a piece of the additional ad revenues Fox
has collected due to his appearance on the so called “debate”
and donate the money to the veterans.

Fox ignored Cruz because they know all too well he is a master debater, and would’ve fed them their lunch.
I’m sorry. I’m not reading a book by Trump. If he floats your boat, by all means, carry on. He’s not my cup of tea and considering there is a large GOP field, we can do better, IMO. You disagree, probably. Tis fine.

Kelly is a puffed up drama queen who always seems to interviewing for her next job stepping up to a broadcast network. You only work at a cable network when you are in a career decline. Wallace is just a New York liberal and Brett Baier is a pissant.
