Businessman Donald Trump remains the leader in the race for the GOP presidential nomination in the wake of the first debate, a new NBC/Survey Monkey poll shows.
Businesswoman Carly Fiorina, widely touted as the winner of the earlier "happy hour" debate of the lower-tiered candidates also got good news. She rose six points up to 8 percent – enough to put her in fourth place. If that trend continues in other polls she would earn a spot in the next GOP debate in September between the top 10 candidates.
The poll was conducted during a 24-hour period overnight Friday into Saturday morning while controversy raged over Trump's debate exchanges with Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly and his remarks about her later. That also was coupled with RedState chief Erick Erickson's decision to disinvite Trump to speak to the RedState Gathering on Saturday.

The trumps are a close.family. Children, together at work. Grandparents. They spent a lot of time going up and down their elevator at TT. Dinner at home between 6-7 some family time then older ones back to work if there is a project that needs it.
Both Don Jr and Ivanka have talked about the self discipline. And work ethic the family tries to pass down through the generations.

Maybe she was nauseous from too much booze. Maybe there WAS blood coming from her eyes. I’ve had such bad hangovers that my eyes looked like they were bleeding. Especially from the inside looking out.
Unfortunately, I did not get to watch the debate ... Just followed the real-time postings here on FR - until the replies all went to Warp 5 ... and then I just gave up and signed off. So, I did not get to the “religious” remarks. But, knowing how MK et al performed up to the point I logged off, I’ll bet is was revolting.
Gonna hold you to that prediction - we’ll see whether the rest of America thinks as you.
This is something I have been pondering. Right now the establishment is fuming that Trump is leading with Ted Cruz right behind him. Like I have stated I believe Donald and Ted are working together. Remember they had numerous meetings together before Cruz announce he was running. I believe that perhaps Ted warned Donald about the inside of the political establishment.
Now with Trump leading, many feel as I do that perhaps we may not have an election. I just wonder knowing Trump is growing in strength, that Obama could create a crisis to halt elections until the crisis is over (that is if it is over).
I guess it sounds silly, any thoughts.

Egg on their faces again. This is now the third poll showing no change against Trump. Cruz and Carson are also moving up, beating back Yeb. I love the way this race is playing out!
