“Will be doing Meet the Press, This Week and Face the Nation Sunday morning. Enjoy!”
The way things have been going for him, it’ll be “Meat the Press” and “Deface the Nation”
Maybe some clever network executive will see the opportunity to pick up millions of conservative viewers who are pissed at FOX.
Once again proving the old political adage: “I don’t care what the press says about me as long as they spell my name right.”
lol
The difference between Trump and a conservative politician?
A conservative politician who was called a sexist and had his party say he has gone too far would apologize, hide, hunker down, and strategize what to do when it blows over.
Trump schedules all three MSM political talk shows 36 hours later.
When will conservative politicians understand that if you are playing defense you can never play offense?
Love it.
Of course, FOX News will have the regular clowns on.
The husband of Scott Walker’s adviser. What’s his name, George Will. Krauthammer will tell us Trump is done for the 100th time, and for us to keep an eye on a Bush surge. Steve Hayes will report live from Wisconsin to say that Walker is looking “really strong” and Trump is finally finished. Brit Hume will report from his living room and tell us how Fiorina is one to watch - very high ceiling. And Trump is reportedly all done.
You mean FauxNews.
You can just feel the palpitations at FauxNews.
“But how will the public find out what he thinks of Ellen?”
“Who will ask the important questions about homosexuals?”
“Who is going to shame him for not going on the View so he can be dissected on screen?”
Last one out, turn off the light Faux.
He’s gutsy, that’s for sure. LOL Maybe he will pull in enough viewers and they will rename the shows: Meet the Donald and Face the Donald.

Substitute "Republican elite" for "conservative" and I'd agree.
It means that there is no such thing as bad publicity.
He wrote the book on it and conservatives would be wise to read and follow.
Then there is the old show business canard: No publicity is bad publicity
The media turned politics into reality television, and now a bona fide reality television star, who understands how the game is played, has them flummoxed. He knows he is playing the "villain", but guess what? The villain gets the ratings! As long as he gets all of the attention, he harms the other candidates who are spending money to get their message out.
Think of it this way. In each week there are only 3 slots for about 5 political shows each. That is 15 chances for a political candidate, or their surrogates, to pitch themselves to the American people. Trump just sucked up 3 of the 15 slots (a full 20%) for himself. Even if he doesn't add to his poll numbers, he just blocked out three other candidates from adding to theirs. And Trump has the money (which he doesn't have to spend due to the free publicity) to outlast most of the others.
This is a huge move for Trump.
Good one

I missed the “This Week” reference above (I don’t watch these stupid biased shows so don’t even know about them). That would be “Fist Week” by me, and probably “The Donald this Week” for you!
It’s corollary is, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.”
I don’t watch these shows, so is he the only one on the program for the entire hour? If so - what a stroke of genius. The others had to vie for time at Red State, and he gets the whole time to himself. Hopefully, he’ll be able to seriously discuss the issues which he was denied during the debate. To be fair - none of them got to go into much detail. That debate forum was a sham.
Usually there are three segments on each show, so he will be on for a decent length interview.
