Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem.

Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem, and throws tea into Boston Harbor.

Revolutions. How times have we heard that revolutions have been carried out for less than what Washington has forced on us? The organization that is nominally on our side is just as corrupt.

Donald Trump is the revolution. He must go after the nearby corruption before tackling the state, just as Jesus the Jew attacked his priests before taking on Rome. Our founding fathers had to deal with colonial loyalists, while fighting the British.

Revolutions are messy, difficult to watch. The Weatherman of the 1960’s and 1970’s were vile and violent, then went dormant, then attained power in 2008. We don’t have that kind of time.

Today, we have the vile, without the violence. Our revolution is peaceful, but at times ugly and disconcerting; a small sacrifice for major change.

Trump knows this, and is not going anywhere.

He isn’t interested in being the messiah of the world, so there goes another strawman... whoompf.

Good points, all. Thank you.

I understand that people are grasping onto Trump out of a certain sense of desperation, but at some point, common sense has to override. I hope.

So along comes a known Democrat and insults the press and the establishment and a cadre of frustrated conservatives anoint him savior of the country, complete with allusions to the New Testament.

Exactly.

Some are praising God that a “donkey” is saying what the “holy cadre” wouldn’t and couldn’t.

I'm going to pray to the true God to bring some sanity back to conservatives.

The charity of your statement is only found lacking in it's presupposition - Thank you, as always for your staunch defense of principled Conservatism.

Celebrity worship at its worst.
I partly blame reality television. it has skewed our perception. the weaker thinkers among us can no longer tell the difference between our national leaders and the idiotic fat chick in new jersey that has sex in the men's room; they're both in our TV box.

The sanity was regained when they began to say yes, a lot of what Trump is saying made sense and they are glad that someone with moxie, even if it is a weird formula, is pressing it.

That’s not “charity” — it is incredible proud condescension.

Weak thinking is believing a lifelong liberal is anything but simply because he says what conservatives want to hear during an election cycle.

As if all of us have our head fused to the idiot box? Some don’t.

Weak thinking is confusing the issue with the speaker. That is the ancient fallacy of ad hominem, and Megyn well knew it and went that road anyhow. And so are way too many of you folks.

Donald Trump has a long history of being a liberal. Do you always believe the campaign rhetoric of liberals? Because that is exactly what you are doing now. Have at it. I'm more of a thinker than that.

> I guess it was only a matter of time until someone compared Trump to Jesus Christ.

Sort of like a conservative’s version of Godwin’s Law.

If you ask the Mods nicely, they might do you a favor and pull this embarrassment.

How about I ask them nicely to see if they'll pull YOU for being an embarrassment. We've waited for YEARS for someone to take on all of these punks and we'll just go down fighting. Thanks, anyway.

weak thinking is precisely what is happening. people are looking for a single, easy answer to many large problems. "donald will kick ass and fix everything" isn't a thought, it's a delusion.
