So here I was kind of watching Trump do all the interviews after the debate. And he was going after every journalist, by name, who said anything negative about him. And when he does that he'll usually mock, ridicule or denigrate them. It's very clear and very purposeful.
Now Trump detractors attribute that to being "thin skinned" or that he's some kind of baby that can't take tough questions. Really? The guy has been a player in the cutthroat world of business and finance for decades.
This is clearly a tactic. And then it hit me.
Recognize this?
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
These are Alinskys rules for radicals and it's *exactly* what Trump is doing to every media person that is tearing him down. Megyn Kelly? No talent, unprofessional, bimbo. Luntz, conniving, childlike manipulator.
Donald Trump has found THE way to attack the media. He's never going to get good press coverage. Libs always will. So his choice is to either play patty cake with leftists in the hopes that the press will be nice to him...OR...he can destroy the press, control the narrative, and craft his own image.
Holy cow no wonder Trump is scaring the crap out the the left and the media. He's using their own freaking playbook against them!
In one deft move he's marginalizing the left's biggest weapon, the sycophant press.
Look at his interviews. He's doing it with all those who are speaking negatively about him. Ridicule, sarcasm, and personal attacks.
Like him or not THIS is the only way any conservative ever has a chance to win. I think this is a purposeful plan and he's at least 15 steps ahead of anyone else right now AND doing conservatives a huge favor by clearing out the pressitutes.

He cracked me up when one of the other stiffs tried to take a jab at him, so he says: “Yeah. I gave you money.”
“You came to me with your hand out.”
“And you too.”
“I told Hillary to come to my wedding because I gave her some money.”
Heh. As the punchline goes, “We’ve established what you are. Now we’re just haggling over price.”
This analysis might be right on. The left has used it effectively against our candidates for a very long time. It’s about time someone stood up and out-foxed them with their own game and rules.

Maybe this is reminiscent of Psalm 2 where it says God will laugh at those who have plotted a vain thing (doubtless doing their own chortling as they did so) against Him.
Up to a point it works; it can’t be the only or even main thing on the menu. The idea of a broom is not to occupy the room forever, but to get it clean for something good.
To a lesser extent Carly is doing the same thing to Hillary with her “liar, liar” sound bite. And she has refused to back off of it, (see the Chris Matthews interview after the debate).

Well Hillary is a liar, so if Hillary can’t scoff it off she has met, at the least, slow kryptonite here.
The “Rules” only work if you respond to them. A forceful rebuttal with humor and ridicule thrown in is the best way to respond. Most people want to be well liked and will respond as Alinsky wanted. Not Trump. And it appears we have an EXCELLENT republican field that isn’t falling for these tricks. In my opinion they all did well. Except Bush. Bush was still mushy middle post turtle. The rest were great.
It’s about time someone had the guts to kick butt and take names the way the dems do. Been waiting for someone to fight back for YEARS.
I know right? The leftists and media have been teling Republicans for decades that they must refrain from "personal attacks" and to be "statesmen like." And yet every chance they get they PERSONALLY attack any one who dares to stick their head up and disagree. The roll call is endless. Todd Akin. Sarah Palin. Dick Cheney. On and on and on and on.
So what we have in Washington are Republicans who essentially get leftist table scraps...and they're perfectly fine with that. The scraps keep coming as long as they're nice little puppies.

Essentially if you not on offense you not winning. The best defense is a great offense. Letting people know your not taking crap is like the reason Reagan got the hostages back on day one, and never had to use the military much.
Carrying a big stick only works when they know you will go on offense. Trump is serving notice the public is fed up with the Kelly’s and weasel Wallaces.

Anyhow, Trump certainly satisfies a lot of pent up desire for an avenger. This won’t vanish quickly.
