Agreed. Fox has been knocking Trump from day one, and tonight was no different.

FoxNews has been the mouthpiece for the GOP-establishment for several years now, and dutifully does its bidding. All pro-open borders, pro-beltway cronyism, and pro-faggotry. You get on the opposite side of any of those issues, and they’ll do their best to kneecap you.
I am a cruz voter but was totally disgusted at the Fox hit job on Trump. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable.
These sound bite “debates” annoy me. The “moderators” take more time to ask a question than the candidate has to answer. Why not just: “Each of you has one minute (or two, whatever) to address the immigration problem - go.” Let them talk! And moderators, shut up!!

Nobody can own Trump. That is their problem. He doesn’t need them. He is becoming more confident and less of a braggart though he still needs to work on that.
As for promise not to run third party... he is playing the establishment as well he should. If he makes the promise not to run third party he loses all of his leverage. They’ll treat him like crap. He is outsmarting them.. It is the art of the deal. I hope he just keeps doing what he is doing.

Yes, agreed. The ‘debate’ was an orchestrated spectacle directed by Fox to steer the conversation in a particular way. And clearly, trying to make Trump look bad was part of their agenda. That’s why it’s going to be all the sweeter when they see how irrelevant their spectacle was, and how little effect it will have on the polls, with the possible exception of helping Trump gain a few more percentage points. Voters no longer need these debates to learn about their candidates. Trump will continue to speak directly to the people, and his strengths as a candidate will continue to appeal to voters regardless of Fox’s irrelevant debate.
Triump the Insult Candidate manned up and confessed he wouldn't make such a pledge.
Then the little Hobbit, Bret Baier, tried to change it to pledging not to run as a third party candidate.
Triump shut that turd down by saying he wasn't refusing to pledge he wouldn't run as a third party candidate, he just wouldn't pledge to support the nominee not knowing who the nominee would be.
I'm with him on that. I owe Krispy Kreme and Li'l Jebbie no allegiance. I will have no problem leaving that circle blank should one of them be the nominee.
And don't bother trying to guilt trip me by saying a non-vote is a vote for Hitlery.

Fox could have set the standard in facilitating the debates, but they chose to take the low road and were worse than Candy Crowley.
Agree 100% (And let me be clear, I do NOT like Trump at all) But boy oh boy were they going after him. This “debate” was a sham and was nothing more than Fox News deciding who needs to drop out.
I’ve made it clear that I think there are WAY too many running, but for a “news” network to decide who should be our nominee is horrifying.
This is stunning. Fox, which had a reputation of fairness, showed anything but that. So many other threads across the spectrum, Newsmax to Politico and CNN talked about the mistreatment of Trump. One thread posts responses to Kelly’s creepy behavior. The Luntz focus group was uncharacteristicly off. Online polls show Trump doing uniformly well. But all the Fox people except Hannity are writing Trumps Obituary with drool coming off their collective chins. This is the weirdest start to a presidential election I have ever seen
I agree it was a hit piece .. but what confused me was the question had a double-question in it.
1. Will you support RNC nominee
2. Will you go 3rd party if you’re not the nominee.
And .. I heard comments from several people after the debate - who were being interviewed by Hannity - and they were stating one of the 2 questions - so some people believed it was about supporting the nominee .. and some believed it was about going 3rd party.
I HOPE TO GET CLARIFICATION FROM RUSH TOMORROW.

They worked to keep Cruz in the shadows and his answers were an indication of what a serious-focused-patriot he would be - too bad there wasn't more opportunity for him to shine and that some miss the intelligence if it isn't cadged in jocularity/emotional tirade.
