Obama: Terrorist rockets will 'rain on Tel Aviv' if Congress rejects Iran deal

In an attempt to appeal to American Jewish leaders, President Obama warned of the consequences Israel would face should Congress reject the Iran nuclear deal.

"I can assure that Israel will bear the brunt of the asymmetrical response that Iran will have to a military strike on its nuclear facilities," Obama told roughly 20 American Jewish leaders during a two hour meeting at the White House Tuesday night.

"It would be destructive both to the U.S. and to Israel," Obama warned. "An American military action against Iran's nuclear facilities will not result in Iran deciding to have a full-fledged war with the United States. Iran's defense budget is $15 billion. The American defense budget is $600 billion. What Iran would do, and could do, is respond asymmetrically by increasing its support for terrorism."

"You'll see Hezbollah rockets falling on Tel Aviv," Obama added.

Obama’s comment doesn’t agree with the headline of the article, which suggests rockets will fall on Israel shoud Congress reject the ‘arrangement’.

What does rejecting a deal have to do with a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities? Israel may do it, but we’re certainly not going to.

Not the same thing. Oh, but wait -- that's the very event that the surrender document was intended to prevent. Obama wants Iran to finish its ICBMs with nuclear warheads so it can launch its preemptive strike on Israel, Europe, and the US -- not the other way around.
