Donald Trump: Mexico will pay for wall because I say so ("Let there be a wall, and there was a wall"
CNN ^ | 8/5/2015 | Rebekah Metzler

Donald Trump - who Fox News said literally will be at the center of its GOP primary debate on Thursday - is already feeling the heat from network hosts.

On Tuesday, Fox's Bill O'Reilly grilled the billionaire businessman on his claim that as president he will get Mexico to pay for a wall on the southern U.S. border to help prevent undocumented immigrants from crossing into the United States.

"Bill, they're making a fortune, Mexico is making a fortune off the United States, it's becoming the new China in terms of trade -- they're killing us at the border," Trump said after O'Reilly pressed him twice on the same question.

The third time O'Reilly asked, Trump said, "I'm gonna say, 'Mexico, this is not going to continue, you're going to pay for that wall,' and they will pay for the wall. ..."

Fact is Trump doesn’t go far enough. Beside all the other factors mentioned in previous postings on this subject;

In “countries such as Mexico where an American citizen decides to be a “legal” emigree never mind being a seasonal visitor.

They are denied voting privledges. Ownership of land in their own name, and selected access to government services.

Worse if entering that country illegaly. Then face steep fines and jail time before getting kicked out. Beside being denied use of government services, including; income and energy subsistance including food stamps, or bringing in family members .

When Trump announces we should not allow any such full citizenship privledges to illegals who are from countries such as Mexico that deny to a legal American immigrant full citizenship privledges.

That those “Dreamers” who were given this unconstitutional bypassed federal laws treatment entrance by INS who miss their INS hearing be deported fortwith and denied re-entry. also apply to any illegal convicted of a felony.

And announces he supports reciprocal citizenship requirements. Then gets accused of being racist. I’ll believe in him when he “eats his cracker” and asks God for forgiveness./s...

But Trump will not be a CEO / King.

You mean unlike the current king?

I have said for a long time that only another tyrant can undo what the current tyrant has done because Congress will actually stand up to any attempt to undo what the won has done.

A lot of sound and fury but signifying nothing.

Sort of like repeal and replace or we must stop Obama's unconstitutional amnesty plan.

You must give us the Senate to stop this lawless president.

Then when they get the power they simply can't shut the government down, no one would invite them to the best cocktail parties.

Yes. I thought of that retort. Sure — undo Obama’s EOs but I don’t agree that any president should act outside the constitution just because obama did.

Good luck with any other candidates negotiating deals.

We don't negotiate deals we simply raise the bribe until they agree.

Investigate trade imbalance with Mexico. Then add dollars going to Mexico from Mexicans in US. When you find that number it will be obvious why Mexico will pay for the wall and happy to continue the bonanza coming from north.

I never heard Trump say that we will stop lining their pockets with factories. Never.

That was the point he was making when Ted Baxter kept cutting him off. I was paraphrasing his points.

But if we did do that, are we going to go after U.S. factories putting factories in Mexico? Is that hard-core gov’t control of business?

No, he's said previously he's going to put a tariff on those good manufactured elsewhere. If it's too expensive to a company to build a factory in Mexico, they won't. IF Mexico wants to co-operate...by for example paying for a wall....then those tariffs could be lowered or eliminated.

You can take a horse to water, but no one can make that horse drink it.

One of the most abused quotes ever, also untrue. We march up to the cr@p sandwich table every four years and partake liberally.

ignorant people shouldn’t be trying to force him to show his hand

Like the jackasses that don't think obama should answer any questions?

He's asking people to vote for him.
If the ignorant people shouldn't pester him, he should go home.

ps: I found it pretty interesting that Free Republic's auto correct capitalized Obama but not god?

So how’s that Obama care working out for those democrat voters?

Pretty well actually since it doesn't really begin to effect them until 2016.

LOL! You’re going to talk about IQ? The newbie who said yesterday that you don’t support Cruz if you don’t support Trump?

Yeah, in order to support the most solid Constitutional conservative since Reagan, I need to fawn and faint over a Democrat reality-show shyster.

You don’t do logic very well. do you?

If I have to read one more person putting words that Trump isn’t actually saying into his mouth

Actually you don't have to read anything here, only you control that, unless you are actively looking to find things to be outraged about.

Yep. You can see the huge back of trucks coming into the U.S. on Googlemaps.

That said, it might not matter in the big scheme of things because trucks delivering goods will either pick up another load trailer or just deadhead home with an empty trailer.

Ah, so now it is ok for our candidates to wait until they are in office to tell us their plans?

How did that work with Congress?

:-)

I’ll take my chances by engaging with people who support a Democrat over other Conservatives.

Besides, being called all sorts of things by the belligerent supporters of Trump is a badge of honor :-)
