Someone needs to keep track of such people, watching out for delayed retribution & prosecution after the public outrage forgets.

The mouthpieces say that facts have to be gathered and at this time no charges have been filed.

"At this time."

Wiggle room. They know they will, they just haven't.

Yet.

There were at least 3 days of rumors that the Navy would charge the sailor.

This may be a reconsideration by the Navy, because they probably received a landslide of emails and texts against them filing any charges.

If the Navy never had any intention of filing charges, they would likely have released a statement saying that the day the rumors first showed up in the media.

Then we must follow this story and give them hell if they do it. The man is a hero and saved lives.

Treat him like a hero.

Damn leftist bureaucrats. We need men and women like the Lt. if we are going to turn things around.

Yeah, and then blog mercilessly when the time is right. Where are the The People in the streets banging on pots demanding resignations? We The Sheeple can be walked on. We have proven that time and again; and, the powers that be know this.

“Stories of Navy personnel being charged with an offense are not true. There is still a long way to go in reviewing the facts of this tragic incident, but at this time we can confirm no service member has been charged with an offense,” the Navy said in a statement posted to social media.”

Navy says no one has been charged, NOT no one will be charged.
