My very nice neighbor is from Venezuela.
Just a few days ago, he was in visible shock...I had to ask what was bothering him.
Two of his close relatives, who were food producers in Venezuela had just been murdered by a bunch of government thugs who went right up to them on their farm, killed them, and took over.

What do you expect? Only leftists in the US can effectively operate a Socialist Utopia. It's frightening that American Communists/Progressives actually believe they are so massively intelligent that, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, they will do it better.

Karl Marx HATED the middle class.
He wanted them DEAD.
He created a system about getting rid of the middle class by piggy backing his system ON the middle class.
So in Venezuela they adopted his ideas.
But now they’re out of middle classers to live off of.
And that’s not even the most amazing part.
The most astounding thing is that the Socialists are still popular and keep getting elected.
And they’re most popular amongst middle classers.
Just like here in the United States. :)

I'm too lazy today to research THIS subject, but it seems to me that Venezuela was in the 80's and the 90's a pretty prosperous nation
