Gov. Chris Christie has finally taken the gloves off when it comes to Republican presidential rival Donald Trump, attacking the GOP frontrunner's quick-fix solutions on immigration as something that "hurts the credibility of the Presidency" and saying that Trump's views on entitlement reform ignore the facts.
In announcing his candidacy for president last month, Trump said he would "build a great wall" along the entire U.S.-Mexico border to stem illegal immigration, boasting that "nobody builds walls better than me, believe me."

Speaking with CNBC in a Keene, N.H., diner on Tuesday, Christie derided Trump's "great line" about having the U.S.'s southern neighbor pay for the wall, saying it belied a lack of understanding of the complexity of the issue.

Instead, Trump advocated growing the U.S. economy to help shore up the ailing trust fund.
"The math doesn't support Donald's position," Christie said in his CNBC interview. "It's not just about growth. You still have to deal with the facts."

Did Krispy maintain a straight face when he said this?

Even New Jersey is in play again. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime election.
(of course no surprise to me, given my tag line - NJ is very white)
“I hope hes omitted from the first debate.”
Do you REALLY want Hillary to win?
Not a popular position here - but if Trump is unfairly driven from the debate, he runs THIRD PARTY (and throws the election to Hillary), he all but made that promise last week.
Over six months of the Trump media blitz before the first primary he’s going bury the competition and the Dems in the general election.
Chris Christie?
Yes, I hope he’s omitted from the first debate!
Right now, in the latest NH poll, he’s 1 point ahead of CRUZ!
I guess it depends on what your definition of “he” is. So, never mind.
Governor,look over there! Donut!
And Chris Christie would undoubtedly break any chairs/sofa's in the White House when he sat his fat, worthless ass on them.
Go away Christie. Go away.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Very interesting. He’s got Common Core’s number, and he has the Bombastic Bushkin’s number too regarding his support for it.
Trump, “Education should be local!”
This guy has a grasp of the issues. Our president Bush never figured some of this stuff out. Jeb is even worse.
Chrispy is so yesterday
Trump should do fine in the debate and he should just be wary for the gotcha questions that Kelly keeps alluding about. Murdock must watch her nightly.
One more Trump on Hannity last Friday.

Trump is not President. And his patriotism makes it IMPOSSIBLE to discredit the presidency as much as the last three did in office.
He doesn’t seem to worried about the debates.
I can tell you why. Down deep, he has a core that all his beliefs jell with. You ask him a question, and he’s true to that core. You don’t have to practice to respond. It comes naturally.
Now I admit this goes contrary to our typical beliefs about the man, but I’ve seen him return to his core time and again over the last few weeks. There’s no denying by this point that there’s no Conservative core there. He couldn’t possibly fake it to this detail. If you’re beliefs aren’t Conservative, you can’t fake it to this degree. It just isn’t possible.
You either have a Conservative core or you don’t.
Doesn't get much easier then this.
A little late to claim anyone can damage the credibility of the presidency, wouldn’t you say?
Is that them impersonating Laurel and Hardy?
“Look! It’s the Stay-Puff Marshmallow!”
