Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump may have raped his ex-wife Ivana Trump, according to a 1993 biography of the real estate mogul uncovered by The Daily Beast. Trump's attorney on Monday denied the allegation, claiming “you cannot rape your spouse.”
“You’re talking about the front-runner for the GOP, presidential candidate, as well as private individual, who never raped anybody," Michael Cohen, the Trump Organization’s special counsel, told The Daily Beast. "And, of course, understand that by the very definition, you can’t rape your spouse.”
The biography, Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump, by Harry Hurt III, details a 1989 incident in which Trump reportedly confronted his then-wife Ivana, pulling out clumps of her hair and sexually assaulting her. She characterized the incident as rape during the couple’s divorce proceedings in the early 1990s and said she felt “violated,” according to legal documents cited by The Daily Beast....

This attorney is using the lib tactics right back at them i.e. Alinsky(ing) the Alinskyites. The only thing he has to do is pull some case law examples and keep attacking (never go on the defense no matter what and focus on the libel).

So you wont denounce Trump’s lawyers stupid statement because, to you, it would be equivalent to attacking the candidate you support? Well... that seem unscrupulous, if thats what you mean. Trumps lawyer made a big goof here, and this will be a big story in the next day.
It won’t matter to his supporters. They’ll say that Trump is going to destroy the GOP and that’s what is important. The fact that that helps the Democrats fill the void won’t bother them because they’re so pure in their conservatism that they support Trump, a man who has financially supported Democrats and been recently a member of their party.
No one is my candidate. But I will surround the wagons a la democrats. I learn most don’t.

yeah first of all Ivana Trump’s first language is not English,, she was probably trying to say it was more like a wham bam thank you maam one night stand than a loving caring husband making it with his wife.. that’s certainly not unusual for people having sex and not getting along
I won’t abide by scandolous rhetoric, especially by the allegedly serving our side. Our side ought to be held to a higher standard because our side has the moral highground. Statements like Trumps lawyers are wrong and disgusting.
What next, an investigation of Trump’s church? Or an investigation of his birth certificate? Or a demand to see his college records?

“.........Business Insider reached out to the Daily Beast’s executive editor, Noah Shachtman, who provided a series of questions he has for the Trump campaign including whether they have any examples of his site reporting incorrectly on Trump.
“Did they actually provide any examples of those inaccuracies or are their media critiques as busted as their legal interpretations?” Shachtman asked.
Shachtman also questioned Cohen’s behavior and whether Trump shares his attorney’s views on rape.
“I’d like to know if Mr. Trump also feels that marital rape is not a crime. … We stand by our reporting,” Shachtman said, before adding, “If this was such old, nothing news why is the Trump campaign moving so aggressively to squash it? Why did they threaten our reporter? And also, if Mr. Trump actually makes his way to the White House, the kind of intimidation tactics that Mr. Cohen displayed tonight, would he consider those to be the norm for his administration? I’d love to know answers to those things.”
