'Black Lives Matter': We Will 'Shut Down' GOP Convention If We Can

Shades of 1968 and the Days of Rage? Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has announced that "any opportunity we have to shut down a Republican convention, we will."
Appearing on today's Melissa Harris-Perry show on MSNBC, Cullors also blithely spoke of "the murder of Mike Brown" in Ferguson, MO. Neither of the co-guest hosts sitting in for Harris-Perry, Richard Liu and Janet Mock, challenged Cullors' characterization. This despite the fact that even Eric Holder's Justice Department found no wrongdoing on the part of the police officer who shot Brown.

Are they stupid enough...The administration of Cleveland is black. So is its majority population. So what the heck is their message if they protest?
PS: Just a hunch, but if they disrupt the convention, the response will be incredible.

Most importantly, Donald Trump is primarily in this campaign to call out the GOPe and its spineless candidates. Note his spot on comments about Walker and his troubles in Wisconsin.
Walker is beholden to his moneybag donors. That is why he won’t call out the ugly comments his supporter made against Trump. Trump is going to destroy Walker in this campaign.

The 2016 GOP National Convention is to be held in Cleveland, Ohio. The city is run by Democrats and well over half the population is black.
Those Republicans are geniuses./s

Don’t we expect Patrisse and her thug gang to do just that? This is not a surprise.

You think an outright coup? Good point. Unfortunately the Americans are dumbed down thanks to liberal controlled schools. To them a coup is what you put chickens in.

All this crap gives them an excuse not to look for the true cause of their self-inficted pathologies.

That’s rather what the gop should expect for holding its convention in that crap hole.

"What would be the effect on the election if Black Lives Matter seriously disrupted the Republican convention?"
Probably to the detriment of the Democrats, similar to the effect that the left-wing demonstrations had on the Democratic Party in 1968. The general public would think:
1. Are these people representative of the Democratic Party? If so, I don't like it. These people are irrational and dangerous.
2. It is deeply un-American to try to shut down a political convention.
3. It is deeply unfair to hold Republicans responsible for incidents which mostly occurred in Democratically-controlled cities.

Donald Trump would be running third-party by then...."If Trump leaves the GOP, I wonder how many politicians would go with him. I think it would be smart.

2nd Amendment, private security - bring it. They are stuck in 1968.

Remember how well the anti-war crowd’s disruption worked in Chicago back in ‘68? I would imagine similar results in ‘15.
