Donald Trump catapulted himself into the spotlight with his gilded real estate ventures and vibrant personality. The latter is what has made his show "The Apprentice" such a huge success. And over the years, he's had an opinion or two about the business world. "In the end, you're measured not by how much you undertake but by what you finally accomplish," Trump once said. But like any successful business person, Trump has had his share of setbacks. Here, we present to you 12 Trump businesses that went belly up or no longer exist.

Cruz is best qualified so I think he will emerge victorious.
To early to say whether Trump,Cruz or even Sanders has “no chance”
Dennis Rodman has endorsed Trump.
Either Trump is resonating with more than just conservatives, or he is appealing to the fringe, or both.
I’ve stopped getting drunk off of the Trump kool-aid, although I will have a few drinks here and there.
I invite others to do so as well.
When you’re drunk and you go home with some girl you met while intoxicated, you don’t really care much until you wake up with her.
She often doesn’t look as good then either.
Good for you....for having owned a business AND for knowing your own personal limitations.
That’s 12 more businesses he’s had than ALL the other candidates COMBINED..
Since you're a brilliant soothsayer and all, can you tell me who will win the World Series this year?
Maybe people do see the big picture, it’s walking down the sidewalk wearing a hijab and they don’t know why it’s here. That’s the big picture in my neighborhood. So far the Trump Act is the only opposition to it in 15 years.

No doubt that Trump serves a purpose, like weeding out the RINO’s although he is one, and tweaking the media.
I just don’t want a nasty, 4-year hangover or worse, 4-8 years of Hillary as POTUS
Just the image of her makes my skin crawl and it’s far worse when I hear her talking regardless of what she is saying.
Not sure if it’s her personality, her politics, her past or a all of the above.
Or maybe my BS filter gets maxed out when I see her or hear her.
I understand your feelings. But I am not about to hold my nose again. Particularly for a Jeb Bush. I want these posers driven from the contest as early as possible. To me, Trump is the quickest way to disillusion donors to Jeb Bush.
As far as the meme of “if you don’t vote for the nominee (Bush), you’re electing Hillary” I’m not going to fall for it a third time. The party can burn to the ground for all I care if they put him up.
If Bush or Hillary our are only realistic choices, then my decision to retire in Thailand, hopefully around the time a new POTUS is taking the oath, will only serve me better.
The US is giving me less reasons to stay around, something I would have never considered in 1985.
Millions of voters will have to live with their choices and not be able to flee the country, although I will not be able to run from any adversity that any POTUS might bring along with him to the WH that directly affects myself and my country even if I no longer live in it.
I think you and I both realize this isn’t our fathers’ country. It isn’t even the one in which we grew up.
Our country has been intentionally diluted with the refuse from the rest of the world in the name of diversity so that it is virtually unrecognizable from our childhoods.
You at least have an option of leaving when you retire. I’m already retired and just here waiting to die now. My main goal is to tell my children and grandchildren about what we were, what we can be and to examine every word and deed government puts upon them without listening to the lies.
Some of the businesses that Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital funded failed. But many succeeded as well.
No one is going to have a 100 percent record of success.
That’s what I’m afraid of; People that see the big picture and will vote for Trump anyways.
I think Trump will be a fond memory for most 15 Months from now and I hope that they will do the right thing, even if it means pulling the lever for Jeb Bush (worse GOP candidate) or even Hillary (worse POTUS candidate)
Unless Trump is a viable 3rd party candidate and the GOP nominee is yet another soft, squishy type, (Ford, Dole, McCain, Romney) but I want to vote for someone that I want, not the lesser of evils.
Ted Cruz is the only guy that I want as POTUS right now.
Let the Dems run those types (McGovern, Gore, Kerry, etc...)
I had to think hard just to remember Romney’s name.
I almost resorted to searching for it.
I don’t think I will forget Trump so easily, but that doesn’t make him POTUS material.
Hopefully, the GOP can do better than “he did it too” but not as bad.
Aren’t we better than that?
I want to vote for that candidate that I want, right now, that is Ted Cruz although my opinion may change but it likely wont barring any revelations of Cruz being a Homo or a Murderer or anything like it. (Yes, I put Homo’s and Murderer’s in the same category. Abortion Doctors are in that category as well. As are militant abortion advocates.)
I hope that 2016 is not another election of the lesser of evils.
Reagan spoiled us.
Was America any better in our lifetimes?
Failure is the #1 required ingredient for success. I’d be more concerned if there were no failures. This is a positive article in my opinion. The guy has guts and demonstrates the never say die attitude. What better type person to bring us out of the toilet we are currently sitting in? He’s been there.
No, it’s not.
And even when I’m no longer living in America, I will never give up on the dream of restoring America to the country it once was.
Even if it is nothing more than a dream.
I have given in to diversity, PC BS and other BS that has been hoisted upon us and I will no longer do so.
Screw what other people think or care.
My longtime friends that posted “rainbow” avatars recently?
“Unfriended”
Do you now spend more time playing computer games than you do at the range shooting at paper targets?
Yeah, you’re next, even though my retirement destination means that I will have to give up certain rights, like owning a firearm.
Some will say I’m abandoning my County.
My Country comes before what is “PC” and what is not.
I will do my best to restore America to it’s past greatness, until I can no longer do so, but not of my own free will.
The news media will never tell you that Walt Disney went bankrupt 7 times during his business career. Finally found success however.
Unlike many others here, I observe events and present my finding with no emotional baggage to bias my thoughts
As I have stated many times..... Go Scott
When you keep enterprises on life support long after they should be permitted to die, it is not called business. It is called “government”.
And, of course, he has increased his wealth by orders of magnitude after closing some businesses.
Yahoo is typically low-brow, far-left fake 'journalism'.
Hey Elena! How many Obama businesses still exist?
Oh wait! Obama has never run a single business!!!
