A New Jersey councilman apologized Wednesday after receiving criticism for a post he made on Facebook that called Chattanooga gunman Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez “Muslim scum.”
“Murdering bastard. Rot in hell Muslim scum,” Hamilton Councilman Ed Gore, a Republican, wrote hours after Abdulazeez shot and killed five U.S. military service members July 16, The Trentonian reported.
When someone responded by telling Mr. Gore not to hold back, he added, “Oh I never hold back on domestic terrorists.”
Imam Qareeb Bashir, president of the Islamic Council of Greater Trenton, said he was “appalled and really disappointed” in Mr. Gore’s comments.

This nut was Muslim and he was scum. So that makes him Muslim scum.

Gore HAS NOTHING to apologize for.
He should apologize for a redundant statement.

Perhaps you should re-read the ‘gun control statement’...he was not advocating ‘gun control’, he was suggesting the marines should be armed (at all times)...

This councilman needs to ‘Trump up’.
Say what you want about Donald Trump, but this is why he’s winning. Unlike most of the Republican field, when he says something, he stands by it, and when the media try to hit him, he hits back. He doesn’t follow GOP standard operating procedures by apologizing profusely and begging for forgiveness. Every time he stands his ground, his poll numbers go up. When are the Republicans going to realize that this is the way it’s done, and follow his lead?
The only reason Christie doesn't join the muzzies completely is he can't handle putting off stuffing his face till sundown during ramadamadingdong.

If you read it carefully, he didn’t apologize to anyone.
Groveling by any other name is groveling. It reads like an apology to me. A walk-back. A sorry-to-offend. A not-all-muslims-bad unnecessary BS statement.
All he should have said was: “What do you want me to say, he’s a Muslim saint?”

He needs to apologize for apologizing.
