Diana,
I don’t want to come off as one the candidate bullies, but I have a question

I have heard 3 speeches, and 2 interviews with Walker since his announcement. To me the guy is sounding like a tape recorder. Is it his speaking style? Are his handlers pushing him too hard to stay on point.
Have you heard any of this? Or am I just spoiled by Cruz, who is a world class debater?

I am becoming disappointed with Walker, who up until now has been my 2nd choice.

Give him time. Did you start campaigning for Governor (George) Bush of Texas right off the bat? I sure didn’t!

Scott will be fine. He’ll hit his stride. We are a LONG way from Election Day.

I’m not worried; either Cruz or Walker works for me. Both, together would be AWESOME. Batman and Robin. :)

Walker is very methodical in his approach to a campaign....he cements a few concepts in the minds of the voters and then builds on that with a few more and then a few more.

Yes he's "rehearsed" - listen to enough candidates, and you will find they all have their "stump" speeches. He's definitely a slow and steady wins the race kind of guy. Unflappable. A man with a plan, and probably the hardest working guy you will ever see.

To me the guy is sounding like a tape recorder.

By the time we are half-way through the debates, they will all sound like that.

The reason is that we news junkies listen them over and over in various venues.

The 'average' voter doesn't pay much attention until it is primary time for their state. Thus, what the candidates say is probably 'new' to them.

There are only so many talkingpoints a candidate can memories. There are only so many topics that influence a campaign.

[That is, unless one of the debate moderators, such as Stephanopoulos, makes up a new topic with a question like: "Do you support states that want to ban contraceptions?"]
