Donald Trump might finally have crossed the line.
Appearing on Saturday at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, the real estate mogul took his running feud with Arizona Sen. John McCain to a new level.
“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
The remarks, which came after days of back-and-forth between McCain and Trump, were met with scattered boos.

I never said I supported what the media said...some reading comprehension might do you some good.
What I did say, however, is that image is reality. Regardless of the media lying, they will HAMMER Trump for this comment. Like it or not, this might affect his candidacy.

Of course the Cruz and Walker supporters are more then happy to pile on Trump too. They foolishly think their man will inherit Trumps' supporters. That they fail to realize is that the fix (money) is in for Jeb. Jeb will get the funding and the party rulers will see that he gets the delegates too. Fla recently changed it's rules just to make sure Jeb was the big winner there. Remember all the rule changes last time to insure the GOPe candidate was not threatened by a "outsider" (Ron Paul)? Sans Trump Jeb has a lock on the GOP nomination. Only Trump has the $$$ to take him and the GOPe on in a long war.
Walker might have a outside shot should Jeb fail miserably as a candidate. Walker appears to be a good fall back candidate for the globalist Chamber of Commerce GOPe.
To a point. Ronald Reagan bypassed the media with charisma. He spoke to the masses directly, through a slanted media, and succeeded.
Donald Trump has 0.01% the charisma of Reagan. What he DOES have is OODLES of money.
If I'm Trump, I'm doing ad-buys in all 50 states -- right now! -- clarifying my comments and exposing media lying.
Someone made a great point on another thread, and it has blunted my support of Trump to a great degree: These days, the political parties are NOT Democrat vs. Republican. These days, the political parties are Elitist vs. Populism. Trump -- a *clear* elitist -- is saying Populist things. That is why many times you will hear him say something, and almost against your will, your head will nod in agreement.
Trump is saying the things we have been thinking and feeling since the Elitists wrested control back in 1988 -- Clinton's very win was because he appealed to Populism -- but it remains to be seen if Trump really believes a word of his own speeches.
In fact, I think I will take this Elitism vs. Populism and expand it into an editorial.
