This is the problem with the “militarization” of police. It’s not about the equipment they have, it’s about the attitude shift of considering someone an “enemy” as opposed to a “suspect”.

I like my solution better. Any settlements are paid out of the police pension fund.

If that were my wife this thug wouldn’t be cashing too many pension checks.

Rossi said Rose became very aggressive and she told him to wait at the door so she could go get a cell phone. ...or a firearm...

the fact she was naked is irrelevant
she resisted arrest. those that resist arrest suffer the consequence

I’m calling BS on her story. Her daughter came to the shower to say the police were at the door, and she grabbed a TOWEL to go to the door? Why didn’t she grab some clothes. How many of you answer the door wearing a towel?
She is more concerned with going to get a cell phone than getting clothes, a robe, something.
Where is the ex she was supposedly having an argument with? Who called the police? I am thinking this was possibly a set up for a law suit.

Just think about how high the premiums would be for the average Lib. They could never afford it.

I’d say she got off lucky.

Well...we’d bankrupt that fund fairly quickly. This would force the cop, his local boss, the city, and a bond agency to all participate in his behavior. My gut feeling is that once you assign some risk of behavior to a guy and his cost level goes up....he’ll get out of the cop business and go back to his main duty....mall cop.

Rose said. When a cop shows up, youre not the one in charge. I dont care if this is your house.
If he has a warrant, yes. If he doesn’t, the opposite is true.

Headline should read,
“Psycho Perv Cop On The Prowl Abuses Authority To See Woman Naked”
The fact that he retired means he is guilty. The D.A. should prosecute and it should be an automatic forfeit his pension.
To: Slings and Arrows
Why did he not get arrested for sexual assault?
