Scott Walker stumbled over his own prior comments Wednesday, saying that when he called on the Boy Scouts to reinstate a ban on gay leaders because it protected children, he meant the ban protected them from media scrutiny.
The protection was not a physical protection, Walker said Wednesday at an event in South Carolina, according to The New York Times. Rather, the Wisconsin governor continued, he was referring to protecting them from being involved in the very thing youre talking about right now, the political and media discussion about it, instead of just focusing on what Scouts is about, which is about camping and citizenship and things of that nature.

Walker's playing it cute. He has no DC voting record, so handlers can fill this vessel with things the voting public likes.
Don't think it's going to work. With Trump in there, the dwarfs are either going to have to be with Trump or with the DC crowd. Middle-of-the-roaders (as they should be) will be road kill.
I don't trust Walker. He got attention with his anti-illegal stand, now seems to be trying to backtrack from that. Can't help but wonder if he's the Chamber of Commerce guy. JMHO
He is correct about the media but should not have backtracked.
It's one thing to backtrack on your position. It's another to backtrack in such an inept manner.
Post of the day.
If Trump has taught candidates anything - once you know your position and state it - DO NOT BACK DOWN.
In fact, say it again, and again.
“Perhaps to stem some of the blowback, Walker’s communication director later responded, “Of course the governor thinks the president is a Christian.”

Strike two.
I do not believe for a minute that any Bible-believing Christian believes Obama is a Christian. I certainly do not.
Mulligan.
Would’ve been great w/ Romney.

There is one caveat. You have to actually BELIEVE your position. :)
Speak the Truth, Walker. There is no homosexual “gene”—science and twin studies prove that and all homosexual cultures have pederasty-—look at today’s Afghanistan boy harems——it is how they train and groom the boys into the vile unnatural lifestyle/demonic worldview.
He should just talk about the history of the Boy Scouts of Germany which was founded by a homosexual so they could get the boys away from the parents and have orgies in the woods. These trained boys became the Hitler Youth and Nazi SA (homosexuals).
Why would you put puerile, immoral males fixated in latency in charge of boys who need a moral, mature male, one that appreciates true diversity and true Love-—of the “Other”.
Males who are fixated on other males are traumatized and were neglected in childhood and are unable to mature.......all behaviors are learned and habituated (Aristotle knew this)....
All true “education” is to promote Virtue in children-—not irrational , dehumanizing vice, which is learned and modeled and habituated.
So Walker says media protection = yes and physical protection = no?
Weak sauce.
You wouldn’t put a man in with a bunch of little girls in intimate situations such as sleep overs which scouts have, so why in the world would you put a man attracted to males in with little boys. It is not healthy, to say the least.
Very true, and anyone who justifies this stuff with the Boy Scouts is no better than a wife who looks the other way while her husbands abuses the children.
SICK TO DEATH OF THE WUSSIES!
Homosexuals make up only about two percent of the population. Why is everyone so terrified of them?
Calling Napscoordinator and other Walkerbots....
Can you all justify his flip flopping on yet another issue?
Care to tell us WHY and HOW Walker isn’t establishment lite?
How is it most these male professional politicians who are middle aged resemble little boys?
This is really odd.
His explanation makes NO sense whatsoever.
