Donald Trumps polling numbers somehow continue to rise, as he is now virtually tied with Jeb Bush in a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll.
Donald Trumps stock is on the rise.
The billionaire blowhard and presidential candidate has surged into a virtual tie with former Florida governor Jeb Bush atop the crowded field of Republican contenders, according to a Reuters-Ipsos poll released Saturday.
Trump had the support of 15.8% of respondents in the online poll of self-identified Republicans compared to 16.1% for Bush.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie trailed the top two at 9.5%.

It is NY Daily News.....may be more East coast people polled?
Jeb Bust, Chris Christie and Donald Trump!! Hell no!
Your point? Wanting to give people already here a path to citizenship means they are checked and their criminal record and physical health can be verified. Far different from allowing people to continue to pour into the country illegally.
Oh, thanks, but still....I begin to worry we deserve what we’re getting if we have Republicans seeing him as a viable candidate.
Christie 3rd place?
Something is wrong. Very wrong.
Hardly. Granting citizenship to illegal invaders begins the next, exponentially bigger, invasion.
This dynamic is already well-established since the Reagan-era amnesty.
Not if we have a real border.
If your home is on fire, one has to stop the fire first before doing anything else.
Fox News has said every candidate must file forms with them, regardless
of the 45 day extension to be included in the debate.
Bush filed for the 45 day extension.
We shall soon see if Bush is looking for a way out of the debate by not
submitting his forms to Fox on time.
Some folks don’t understand that Trump is putting on a show to distract the sheeple with “ooh, shiny”
Yeah, we were promised one of those when they did the last amnesty.
Oh, a thread-jumper. Lol!!
This Reuters / Ipsos poll began in January 2012 and since then continuously polled between 2,000 and 3,000 people a week. Over that period, we have asked hundreds of questions ranging from presidential politics to the Oscars, from the Syrian civil war to the perception of social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter.
Unlike almost all mainstream polls, the data is entirely collected via online surveys. Online surveys allow us to collect far more data and to be more flexible and fast-moving than phone research, and online is also where the future of polling lies.
This methodology may be different from the traditional (telephone) approach used by others, but it is highly accurate: It was the most accurate national poll of US residents published immediately before the November 2012 general election.
Our data is primarily drawn from online surveys using sampling methods developed in consultation with several outside experts. These involve recruiting respondents from the entire population of US-based Internet users in addition to hundreds of thousands of individuals pre-screened by Ipsos. The responses are then weighted based on demographic information.
Because of the volume of demographic information collected, the poll provides unprecedented insight into the myriad of communities that constitute the United States in the 21st century. This window into the population allows users to look at the polling results over time and adjust the aggregated interval of results to maintain a reasonable sample size. Those intervals are five-day rolling average as well as weekly, monthly and overall averages.
In my business I talk to homeowners and business owners all the time. I'm talking solid people who have a real stake in the country - not the gimmedats.
The sense I get from most of them is that they resonate with the same issues that concern us Freepers most. Due to that observation, I can't believe that many of them would look to Jeb Bush or Chris Christie as someone who shares their concerns and values. Quite the opposite, in fact.
I'm convinced that these good poll numbers for Bush and Christie are manufactured out of pure horse manure.
Links and sources, even quotation marks could make you look the slightest bit credible and less like a rabid lunatic.
Trump is pro-life and pro-traditional marriage. You can’t go by what he said in 1999. Ronald Reagan was actually a registered democrat once, and a union official to boot. If Reagan can evolve, why not others?
I am for universal healthcare NOT run by the government.
It would 100% private health insurance with ability to buy insurance out of state, no mandate to buy government defined insurance coverage, catastrophic only health insurance available for younger folks, limits on mal-practice awards based on actual damage, availability of prescription drugs through a group policy, portability of health insurance, Health savings accounts, etc. It would actually reduce cost of healthcare.
I am fine with helping people who can not afford to buy insurance. If any one has a gall bladder attack like I had, but could not afford to go to a hospital, it is totally unacceptable to me. The pain was beyond I can put in words. I had to have emergency surgery in hospital.
With the national debt we have now, it is fiscally conservative to tax the super wealthy for a ONE time haircut. 14.5% tax would mean Trump would have to pay $1,160 Million in tax. I have no problem with that.
It is far better than dumping the national debt on future generations.
Crony capitalism has only one solution...flat tax with no loop holes.
But above all the most urgent problem facing the country is illegal immigrants. If they are allowed to stay and become legal, democrats will rule for ever. Only Trump has the guts to tackle this problem.
Really? May be Bush is taking a cue from Hillary! She is avoiding the media and debates like it was the plague.
I guess when those Jerseyits wake up from their slumber, they can move mountains!
I call BS. No other poll shows Krispy Kreme anywhere near that level of support.
