Today, many are cheering the end of an era in the South. As The New York Times reports, many see the lowering of the Confederate flag from outside South Carolina’s State House as “closing a chapter on a symbol of the Deep South and its history of resistance and racial animus.”

I think the main point here is (or should be) that the Muslims have shown repeatedly that their methodology is to destroy the ‘symbols’ of every other nation/society/religion until there is nothing but Islam left.

Be it the pyramids or the Confederate Flag, they are on the list of objects to be destroyed.

Yeah, the gay marriage case was exactly about the rights of the state to determine marriage.

Marriage isn’t named in the constitution which makes it a clear state issue but the supreme court ruled it legal in all 50 states anyway.

Its why I support the Ted Cruz idea of retention elections for Supreme Court justices. I would let the state legislatures vote on them to return power to the states. The court wouldn’t be so quick to step on the states if the states held their fate in their hands.

We've had that since we eliminated prayer though, and since the Roe decision. In Roe Blackmun & co. had to squint their eyes just right to just barely make out the imaginary "penumbra" granting a woman the right to hire a serial killer to dismember her baby.

Plan on flying the Gadsden and Confederate flags from my porch as symbols of American independence and states’ rights. Americans need a reminder on what founded this country and what is needed if future generations are to be free.
