Climate change could lead to seas rising 20 feet
CBS News ^ | July 10, 2015 | By MICHAEL CASEY

Rising sea levels have been mostly measured in inches in the past decades, but scientists said they could increase more than 20 feet in the future as global warming continues to melt ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica.

The dire projections are based on a look back at the climate record, with scientists finding that increases of 20 feet have happened at least twice over the past 3 million years when temperatures were very similar to what they are today.

Peter Clark, an Oregon State paleoclimatologist and another co-author of the study, said that because current carbon dioxide levels are as high as they were 3 million years ago, "we are already committed to a certain amount of sea level rise."

"The ominous aspect to this is that CO2 levels are continuing to rise, so we are entering uncharted territory," Clark said. "What is not as certain is the time frame, which is less well-constrained. We could be talking many centuries to a few millennia to see the full impact of melting ice sheets."

That's a misprint. It's 200 feet, not 20. And it will give rise to the rebirth of Predator X. And it eats primarily people of color and children.

Or maybe a thousand feet higher. The oceans could rise a thousand feel. Or a million million feet. And all the unicorns would die... it's so sad.

We must quickly give money to liberal elites so the unicorns won't die...

Scientists voted on the issue. Research doesn't matter. Replicating findings doesn't matter. The fact that NONE of the projections have come true doesn't matter.

What matters is the UNICORNS will die. MICHAEL CASEY's more than a mere journalist for CBS - he's saving the world and all the unicorns in it.

Fall on your knees.

Dr. Peter Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.

Mayor: What do you mean, “biblical”?

Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff.

Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly.

Dr Ray Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!

Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...

Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave!

Dr. Peter Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

This means that it is a normal occurrence that predates SUVs and coal-fired power plants. I thought these Progs believed in “rationality and science”?

Not to worry! One day the sun will nova and boil away all that nasty water!

We’ll be saved! [If a little crispy around the edges.]

Most of the ice in the world is located in Antartica, which is a continent.

There is also the inconvenient truth that ice is now at record levels and continuing to increase in Antarctica.

My GoD...We are all gonna DIE!. look, here’s proof: “ with scientists finding that increases of 20 feet have happened at least twice over the past 3 million years when temperatures were very similar to what they are today.”

How do they know? Ever think about it? How many feet has the land risen and fallen in the last 3 million years?

The burning question is: Did the water rise and fall or did the land rise and fall? What came first.....huh?

The answer is they have no idea what-so-ever. Its impossible to prove. They were expected to come up with a politically correct answer so they did. After all, their lives depend upon the money they make from these totally false studies.

See B.S. "news"...a leader in the Big Lie of GLOBAL WARMING:

Here are some more stories in the past spewed by See B.S. that tried to panic people.

Note: now they call it "climate change" because Global Warming is horse dung. But back in the day, See B.S. was not shy about their adherence to Al Gores' Cult:

January 2004: Species dying because of Global Warming!

November 2004: Panicked Scientists Warn Against Global Warming!

June 2004: Rice Crops in Danger Because of Global Warming!

March 2006: CBS "journalist" Scott Pelley Compares Those who don't believe in Global Warming to Holocaust Deniers!

October 2013: CBS (even Scott Pelley) acknowledges Global Warming might not be all it is cracked up to be...and get PUMMELLED by the liberals at FAIR.org!

I still say that the land masses are floating and when the water from the melting ice on the poles melt, we’ll just float up higher. Those turtles holding the land masses up help too albeit a lot slower.

The earth's plates are always in motion. There are mountain ranges created when the earth's crust rose and low places where the earth's crust has sunk.

(I've seen actually seen these things with my own eyes! And I'm not the only one who has.)

Lest we forget the "earth in motion" notion, we also have earthquakes constantly.

For example, as reported in the progressive oracle HuffPo, the Fukishima earthquake in Japan shifted coastline maximum of 8 feet, scientists say.

McNamara found the way in which the quake actually sank the elevation of the country's terrain to be more troublesome than coastal shifting. "You see cities still underwater; the reason is subsidence," he said. "The land actually dropped, so when the tsunami came in, it's just staying."

The enormous tremor also shifted the Earth's axis. According to CNN, the earthquake moved the planet's axis approximately 4 inches.

So, in a few blinks of some fear widened eyes, the earth moved and the world changed...again.

And no where nearly as dramatic as it could have been, judging by world geology.

Imagine if the sea floor moved up however many feet and what that would do.

Not to worry. We got that covered. The computer models don't show that possibility as a possibility.

Nope, the dire projections are that "Climate Change" could lead to seas rising 20 feet in the future.

"Oh no...say it ain't so. Who will save us?"

Yeah, no kidding. If only someone could...
