A top establishment Republican donor reportedly wants Donald Trump banned from the first presidential debate.
Fox News will host the first GOP presidential debate on August 6 in Cleveland, and the debate will be limited to the top ten candidates in an average of the five most recent national polls in the run-up to the debate. Trump, who placed second in Fox Newss most recent national poll after his presidential announcement speech in which he took firm stances against illegal immigration and trade deals that harm American workers, is in line to be one of the 10 candidates on stage.
And that is not sitting well with some of the partys top donors, many of whom favor pro-amnesty legislation and do want to see their establishment darlings like Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% challenged on the issue.
According to an Associated Press report, Republican donor John Jordan said Monday that GOP leaders should take steps to block Trumps access to the first presidential debate in early August.
Someone in the party ought to start some sort of petition saying, If Trumps going to be on the stage, Im not going to be on there with him,' Jordan told the AP. Im toying with the idea of it.

LOL! That explains it.
Trump needs to find out how much Long is paying his
illegal Aliens to work the Wine Fields.
You know, I would not be surprised if it’s poverty level.
Hence, now you know why he can’t stand Trump.
Follow the money....
IF they ignore Cruz and Trump in the first debate...they will lose me as a fan...both of those guys are smarter than all the rest combined...
Bret Baier and Meghan Kelly have been running in an ad advertising the Cleveland debate, They are my favorites but they better quit ki$$ing butt...but guess they are paid to do that...
I was a Cleveland resident for many years. Back when it wasn't an insult to say...”I'm from Cleveland, OHIO” graduated from Lincoln H.S. and attended the Cleveland Academy of Cosmetology...oh, what fun days those were.
COME ON FOX, CRUZ AND TRUMP MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR DEBATE SHOWS.....and even Carly Fiornia.
They ARE under orders not to fulfill the directive of their job, enforce immigration laws......................from the TOP.....................
Just skip all this debate and primary crap and have the five largest donors meet with Rove and Prince, decide who the GOP nominee will be and announce it at the convention.
More money getting a bigger say is what killed the GOP.
oops .........
Bring it on! More upset Jeb gets, the BETTER! We also want mainstream media upset and beside themselves, start poping pop corn for the debates!
Mr. Jordan may prefer a debate limited to Hispanic Jeb and Rino Jeb.
Hoping it doesn’t come down to him or the Left’s choice, but it is refreshing to have someone speaking some Truth and getting all the Leftists and leftist-leaning RINOs panties all bunched up...
If he doesn’t succeed in blocking Trump from the first debate, based on his words and actions Jordan would be welcomed into the sex-based secular religion of the Left where his bullying, his intimidation, his intolerance, his desire to silence those who disagree with him, and his disgust with patriotic Americans (i.e., conservatives) will be more appreciated.
I hope this “top GOP donor” has real, real deep pockets because if this were to happen, the GOP couldn’t raise 75 cents from the entire Republican voting base.
If Fox News bans him from the debate, I will ban Fox News from my cable subscription.
No, they can’t beat Trump and Cruz on immigration.
And this Jordan and Rove know it.
That is why the GOPe’s don’t want Trump in the debates.
He will expose them all LIVE and in full color.
No press releases, no video clips. Mano a Mano, Live. On National TV.
A wealthy California vintner is trying to make a big splash in the Senate special election in faraway Massachusetts.
In the past two weeks, John Jordan has singlehandedly spent more than $1.2 million to help Republican candidate Gabriel Gomez in an uphill race against longtime Democratic Rep. Edward Markey.
The 41-year-old chief executive of the Jordan Vineyard and Winery has jumped into the race under the guise of a mysterious super PAC with a somewhat un-Republican name, Americans for Progressive Action. Until now, the group has kept the identity of it sole backer under wraps.
Mr. Jordan and his family, who established the prestigious Jordan Winery in Californias Sonoma Valley in the 1970s, are longtime Republican donors who have given over $250,000 to GOP candidates and causes over the past three election cycles, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Mr. Jordan gave more than $60,000 to the Republican National Committee in 2011 and 2012, and has hosted fundraisers at the family estate for Texas Gov. Rick Perry and the former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and the Republican Governors Association.
But his expenditures on Mr. Gomezs behalf, which are expected to top $1.5 million, dwarf anything he has done before and make him an even larger contributor to the Gomez cause than the GOPs own National Republican Senatorial Committee, which has put $900,000 into the Massachusetts race.
As with a number of other conservative donors after last years election losses, Mr. Jordan says he came away feeling disenchanted with his party and its choice of federal candidates, both presidential and congressional.
I am pro-choice and in favor of gay marriage. I am a centrist, he said, describing the November election as an epiphany that revealed to him how the GOP had to turn to moderate centrist reasonable people who have the best interests of the country at heart.
The creation of Mr. Jordans super PAC, Americans for Progressive Action, stirred speculation earlier this month about the groups origins and backers. Its treasurer, Nancy Watkins, used to work for Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, while its spokeswoman, Sheena Tahilramani, once served as chief of state to former Bush White House aide Karl Rove.
The party of Lincoln and Reagan is dying. We need a new GOP Trump-Cruz ‘16!
Like minded fools allowed the re-election of Obama by staying home. Learning from history seems beyond some folks capability. But, you can certainly teach someone a lesson. Just like voting for Perot in 1992 taught someone a lesson. Clinton won with just 43% of the votes.
We shouldn't need more practice to finally learn a lesson about winning elections instead of making feel-good statements of exceptionally foolishness.
Cruz and Trump may well double team any RINO on stage. Its will be one of the funest Debates of all time. It will make or break Trump—if the others just try to spend their time trying to break Trump their own Liberalism will show with their Fake Outrage! Pop the Popcorn!
Like minded fools —
For the last several elections I have voted for the GOP candidate that was picked by the Left/Media.
Tired of voting for one small notch less than a democrat.
Tired of not having a candidate I really want to vote for.
Tired of being stabbed in the back by rinos that I did vote for.
Tired of voting for a loser.
Tired of making foolish mistakes.
Sure hes a loudmouth ass but excluding him would make him a martyr.

I LOVE THE IDEA ,,, exclude Trump ,, and watch Trump buy every stinking minute of ad time during the show where he can say ANYTHING!!!
