I realize this is way off-topic of the usual fare for WUWT, but I’d be remiss in my duty as a patriot and an American if I didn’t at least pass it on so that it will get wide distribution. One of my Facebook friends is a police officer who I’ve learned to listen to. He passes this on to me, and I’m passing it on to you as a public service. Take caution, be aware, and don’t let these extremists ruin your 4th of July holiday.

The Left fears 4th of July because the sight of Old Glory makes people more likely to vote Republican for the next six months, and a kid who attends 4th of July celebration is more likely to lean Republican as a result.

I live out in the country and my neighbors are heavily armed. I will be out sighting in my new Stag Model 7 6.8mm SPC mounted with a Nikon Monarch 3 2.5-10x50 BDC scope. We have a lot of feral hogs out here, but if I spot a few ISIS pukes running around. Well, you know.

If you see a Muslim at a community celebration event, you can assume they are there to do harm. I’ve attended parades and festivals in a small city that is about 20% Somalian. Even though the events are held in areas where the Somalian population is concentrated, I have never seen even one participate in any community event. They do not assimilate and join in festivities. They simply disappear from the area.
I would flee if I saw even one at a parade.

As with all things of this nature, RUMINT is running high with a lot of speculation. That said, ISIS is a differnt critter than AQ was in regards to its attack - and has so far been far more successful than AQ in mustering local (lone wolf) style/coordinated attacks. Due to a much saavier internet social media usage. I personally think that the probability of something(s) will happen this weekend is the highest since 9/11. 0bama projects weakness and ISIS has shown itself to be ‘strong’.
A most astute observation - especially with ISIS and their successful formula.

One would think the wise terrorist would schedule events two weeks prior or after national holidays so they wouldn’t be expected.
