Since the SCOTUS cannot (?) hear its self, and the gay marriage ruling is not Constitutional nor can be found in any form in that document other than supercilious reasoning ....those states whose voters voted against such a union should be able to ignore or be exempt from that false law i.e. the supreme court CANNOT legislate....that is the job of Congress. This SCOTUS has acted lawlessly...that should be enough to ignore their ruling.

I think people are being surprised that some people they know have just come out as homos. That happened to a father who didn't know his daughter was a homo until she changed her Facebook page image with her face now being a rainbow color.

I have a Facebook page as a conservative friend some years ago wanted me to have such a page. I normally don't go there to my page (have written nothing on there) or anyone else’s. I don't think it is wise (safe) to dump your whole life on a page the world can see. I have never been to this “tweeter” stuff, either.

How do these people have enough time to post endless stuff about themselves on their and other’s Facebook page or tweet?

Oh, I forgot, they do it while driving, smashing into your car. :o)

I’m glad they are doing it. That way we know who is making their decisions about eternity based on what their crotch wants. I had (past tense) a friend that has her kids in D.C. right now (ages about 6 to 14). They have been celebrating homosexual marriage by wearing their rainbow t-shirts and discussing how great it is to be a homo. It was like a kick in the gut that she would teach her kids to thumb their noses at God and the Bible.

Seems there’s something deeply religious about marriage, which is why they’re demanding their god - the government - approve their unions.

The gays want validation. That is why they are bothering the institutions. By bullying the latter into sanctioning them, they can have it both ways -- violate societal norms yet without consequences (negative sanctions).

The blogger here seems to contradict himself. He seems more against license or government interference than gay marriage, which to him seems okay as long as it is outside of government realm. He feels "anyone" can marry or do whatever he or she wishes.

I disagree. We are not free to do as we wish. Not with marriage, anyway. There should be rules & some kind of licensing, which is essentially the role of clergy. Our government was based on Judeo-Christian traditions.

Nothing we can do about them taking gay, but I think Jesse’s got a trademark infringement case here.

Years ago (nearly 30) I had a boss named “Gaye.” I’ve always wondered if she changed her name.

The song “I’m So Pretty” from West Side Story used to go, “I’m so pretty and witty and gay,” but the official lyrics have now changed “gay” to “bright.”
