Finally, hundreds of cabbies ticketed for shutting down NYC streets during Ramadan

People have written me for years about how NYC Muslim cabbies shut down these streets and police do nothing. Under both de Blasio and Bloomberg as well. But if you jaywalk, deBlasio sics the cops on you.

Finally. Equality for all before the law. But that’s not how Muslims see it — it is seen through their supremacist prism:

“I can’t help but to think they are being prejudiced. They don’t understand. We have to be here.”

Uh, no, you have to obey the law just like everyone else.

So why have Muslims gotten a free pass all this time? And why ticket now? Because the threat of Islamic terrorism in this city is so great and Ramadan is particularly violent — this is clearly a counter terror measure. Back in September 2013 at Atlas:

From a tactical point of view, the islamokazis are trying to get people used to the excuse of "prayer" for their traffic stopping nonsense, so used to it that people become accustomed to it, right up to the day various vehicles go *BOOM* simultaneously at multiple strategic targets.

Good for the NYPD. Double-parking around the city is the WORST. Geller’s wrong about one thing, though:

“If these individuals had been double parked because they were going to church, they would have gotten a ticket right away.”

I used to live above a store-front church in NYC, and double parking was a huge problem, every Sunday. If you were parked anywhere near the church and forgot to move your car, you’d be stuck there all morning.

Or maybe not. My guess is that they feel they are less likely to be shot by a Mohammedan cabbie with a job who is parked outside a mosque than by a random gangster in the hood. A citation is a citation.
