President Obama is keen to introduce tough new laws which will force the KKK and other extreme right-wing groups to disclose the identities of their members, Daily Mail Online can disclose.
The President discussed the possibility of the new measures when he telephoned Charleston mayor Joe Riley following last week's massacre.
Riley, who is into his 40th year as mayor of the city where nine people were murdered by a self-proclaimed white supremacist down in the AME church massacre, said he and the President talked about how best to set up a national council to act as a watchdog to monitor and report on race hate.
Among the ideas being looked at is legislation forcing extreme right wings groups and violent organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan to provide identities of supporters and members.

Wonder why so many people do not want their data collected on any universal background check for fire arms. If the KKK can be forced to turn overs its members list, it’s a small step to get names of all those who applied for a firearm. And for my 2 cents, that’s the end game of trying force the KKK to turnover their info.
After the Democrats lost the Congress in 1994 following their passing the `assault weapons ban’, Slick Willie sicced the IRS on the N.R.A. in revenge, subjecting their headquarters to daily harassment by Federal agents.
IRS agents camped out in NRA offices, harassing employees with constant demands of “Where’s the list!?” of all NRA members. They threatened to bring charges of “obstructing a government investigation” for failing to provide an NRA membership roster. Clinton felt the NRA had cost him his majority and he was determined to get even.
Well, guess what? The NRA hung tough, its attorneys told the IRS to pound sand, and the `investigation’ died when GWB became President.
Obama wants this, Obama demands that, but that pesky Constitution keeps getting in his way. Getting any organization to name names will require a Congressional investigation or naming of a special counsel. He can’t just snap his fingers, he knows that and it angers him.
Where the list of members of The New Black Panthers?

And all the other lefty groups? Let’s see those names.
