You'd think this was a slow news day.
I object to this whole notion that this is a Mistake.
A Child is NEVER a Mistake.
It was always meant to be this way.
10 years from Now when that child is running and playing in the Sun, I dare you to walk to him/her and tell them it Their Life was a Mistake.
I wasn't a Mistake, and neither were you.
The Child is all that matters.
Talk about being "Pro-Life" I have seen some nasty come out for this unborn baby already.
BTW, let he who is without a situation like this in their family cast the first stone. >:(
I, myself, am the product of just such a situation.
Amen, brother.
That was beautiful!
Well said.

To: KC and all the others I pinged in this post:
Those may be some of the finest words ever crafted here on Free Republic, the world's leading forum for pro-God, pro-life activism. Bristol's new child is indeed a Blessing from God and I, for one, am rejoicing that little Tripp will soon have a sibling. God is Great! Now, if she were an atheistic leftist, the child would have been flushed down the toilet, all to the delight of DemonRATs. But thankfully, as a committed Christian, Bristol Palin reject baby-killing and has been a loving and caring mom as this picture so clearly shows:
Moreover, while still only her mid-20s, Bristol has demonstrated financial wisdom far beyond her years. She has invested well the earnings from various sources of income. Thus, it's a certainty that her family will be well-nurtured. Unlike welfare queens who depend on the government to raise their single-parent children, Tripp and his new brother or sister will be provided for by the financially-astute Miss Bristol Palin.
It’s certainly a sin to have sex out of wedlock. That’s not casting stones. That’s simply telling it like it is. And, yeah. We’re all sinners. The distinction is some repent and some don’t. The fact that Bristol Palin “doesn’t want a lecture” sure sounds like she’s not the slightest bit repentant. Again, that’s between her and God, but I sure don’t have to applaud that sort of attitude. I suppose you could say I accept the child, but I don’t accept Bristol’s public example of sin. As an example to others, she’s terrible.
Welcome Baby Palin....we can’t wait to meet you and love you.
May He keep and bless mama and child (and Gramma and Grandpa, too!).
Very well said.
That is an Outstanding Post. Congratulations!
I would like to thank you for your wise and kind #19 which is certainly the outstanding post on the first page of this thread.
Also in that category is 2ndDivision Vet's #24.
May God bless each of you and yours!
Why doesn’t this young woman take charge of her life and USE BIRTH CONTROL ..??
There is no excuse. If you want to sleep around; do something to protect yourself from pregnancy.
Is this Dakota Myers’ child ..??
Absolutely right!
